Last night's Oscars ceremony (15 March) brought with it a whole bunch of stand-out moments, including host Conan O'Brien making a savage jab about US President Donald Trump's manhood.
The 62-year-old TV host and comedian enjoyed roasting a number of celebs in the audience, including Timothée Chalamet and Leonardo DiCaprio, but it's clear the teasing extended beyond just Hollywood A-listers after he appeared to make a quip about Trump's 'small penis' while joking about the theatre's name.
Now, for context, the 98th Academy Awards took place at the stunning Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Following a commercial break, O'Brien quipped: "Welcome back, we're coming to you live from the 'Has a Small Penis Theatre.

"Let's see him put his name in front of that!"

Despite not actually outwardly naming Trump, the comment, which sparked cheers from the crowd, appeared to reference the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees’ decision to rename the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as the 'Trump-Kennedy Center', a move welcomed by the 79-year-old Republican and his MAGA supporters.
In December of last year, the board of trustees voted unanimously to add Trump’s name and, shortly after, workers were seen installing the words 'The Donald Trump and' above the existing line, 'The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts'.

On December 18th, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that the venue, which opened in 1964 as a 'living memorial' to JFK, would be known as the 'Trump-Kennedy Center'.
It didn't take long for fans to rush to social media to share their reactions to O'Brien's remarks, with one X user writing: "Conan hit max chaos mode tonight lol."
Another echoed: "Conan uncloaked full chaos lol."
And a third chimed in: "Didn’t even say his name, THAT'S MY GOAT."

There's actually a reason why Trump's name was left out of the 'small penis' joke.
As per News.com.au, O'Brien said during a virtual press conference on Wednesday: "Hosting this show is a very thin line.
"We’re celebrating movies and the amazing people behind them, but it has to be funny without tipping into anger or politics."
And according to the publication, in another recent interview on The New Yorker Radio Hour, he added that Trump has become 'bad for comedy' because 'reality now outpaces satire'.
He explained: "When comedians get angry instead of clever, it doesn’t land."
Tyla has previously reached out to the White House for comment.
