Olivia Attwood’s husband Bradley Dack defends controversial comments he said about wife's plastic surgery

Olivia Attwood’s husband Bradley Dack defends controversial comments he said about wife's plastic surgery

He opened up about his comments on her plastic surgery on Loose Women

Olivia Attwood’s husband Bradley Dack has defended the controversial comments he said about his wife’s plastic surgery, having been grilled by the Loose Women panel.

Love Island star Olivia, 32, and her footballer beau Bradley, 30, first met in 2015 after being introduced by a mutual friend.

They dated on and off before Bradley got down on one knee while on a romantic trip to Dubai in 2019, eventually tying the knot four years later – following a number of delays thanks to the Covid pandemic – in a lavish wedding ceremony costing a reported £200,000.

But while their romance has now spanned almost 10 years, Bradley recently admitted that things could have turned out very differently if his wife hadn’t had plastic surgery.

The couple spoke about her cosmetic procedures in Olivia’s documentary The Price of Perfection, which sees her meet others who have gone under the knife in a bid to achieve the ‘perfect’ bod.

Bradley gave a blunt answer in Olivia's documentary.

In one clip, she asked hubby Bradley: "Would you have looked twice at me when we met before Love Island if I had a flat chest, gap between my teeth, hair to here...”

Bradley responded bluntly: "No!"

Olivia later confessed to getting a 'big kick' out of him 'being that honest', explaining: "Even though Brad has been a footballer for many years, and he's done my show, he's not PR trained so he is quite off the cuff sometimes... I thought it was cool."

While Olivia seemed to find the remark amusing, Bradley was grilled about what he said in Wednesday's episode of Loose Women.

Olivia's Loose Women co-stars gave him a grilling.

He insisted the comment was simply a ‘tongue in cheek joke’, telling his missus’ co-stars: “At least I'm being honest!

"You know what, the first time I met Liv, obviously I think you've got to have some sort of attraction to speak to that person.“So I'm guessing if I didn't find her attractive then we might not have had that first conversation to actually meet, I think that's what I meant by saying that."

Bradley – who was sat beside Olivia in the studio – also divulged how he felt when his on-off girlfriend decided to go into the Love Island villa in 2017 to ‘spread her wings’ after their breakup.

He said it had just been a 'joke'.

"I was gutted, absolutely gutted!" he said of their split.

Bradley added: "I tried to stop her from going, I was there the night before she left!"

Thankfully, he had the guts to call Olivia after seeing her on the show, and the rest – as they say – is history.
