Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and there's no better time to show your better half how much they mean to you.

However, the rising cost of romantic staples in recent years has made 14 February a day that many dread.

By the time you've totted up flowers, a box of chocolates and a dinner for two, it's easy to end up out of pocket.

This year, however, if you're looking for a way of paying tribute to your loved ones without breaking the bank, we've got some great news.

Adobe Express has teamed up with artist Andy Leek, aka Instagram's @notestostrangers, to give users access to a range of heart-warming, bespoke-designed Valentine's card templates for free!

The nifty free-to-use app makes it easy to create next-level professional-looking content quickly — even personalised content for your beau.

And you don’t need to be a designer to use it; with a hoard of pre-designed templates available within the app, helping you to create anything from Reels to resumes, TikToks to flyers.

Andy — famed for his headline-hitting 'Notes to Strangers' movement, which sees him offering help to strangers that might be having a hard time through thoughtful posters, scattered across the UK — has designed a range of romantic templates to be shared far and wide.

The templates of the vibrant cards all bear tender, comedic messages on the front.

One gushes, 'I can talk to you forever without getting bored', while a second reads, 'I am so glad I didn't ghost you'.

'It's like chips without ketchup when you're not there', a third says, while another reads, 'Doing nothing is something special with you'.

These templates can be accessed, downloaded, and personalised through the app, meaning you don’t have to be a tech whiz to create your no-cost card - you can even schedule to share your love declaration with all your followers on your socials within Adobe Express. So, the only thing you need to worry about is getting the card printed in time!

Want to take a peek behind the scenes? Andy has shared a video on his Instagram showing exactly how the vibrant designs came to life.

But if these cheeky declarations aren't really your thing, the beauty of the app means you can write whatever you want in dedication to your special someone.

And thanks to Firefly, Adobe Express’ built-in AI feature, you can create custom images and text by typing simple word prompts into the description box and then choose from the range of images generated.

You can add sentimental messages, inside jokes or even pop a proposal in there (if you're feeling brave, of course).
