Nelly Furtado has issued the most iconic response to body-shaming trolls online with a perfect statement.
Over the weekend (24 August), the 'Maneater' singer took to the stage to perform all her greatest hits at Manchester Pride, during which she seemingly addressed the cruel online comments she's been receiving as of recent following her Boardmasters appearance earlier this month.
Without uttering a single word, Nelly expertly shut down the toxic hate spouted by keyboard warriors and instead decided to handle the situation in a far more fashionable manner.
The 46-year-old opted for an oversized T-shirt with a woman's body drawn on it, wearing a white, cropped tank top with a black push-up bra underneath.

The woman on Nelly's T-shirt's mid-section was fully visible, with the design leading down to a drawn-on denim mini skirt with glitzy jewellery and a chunky gold belt to match.
Other than the white baggy tee, Nelly finished off the look with sparkly fishnet stockings, hot pink fingerless moto gloves and a pair of printed under-the-knee boots.
Nelly's latest move comes months after she shared she was having a 'body neutral' year.

Back in January, the mum opened up about the 'aesthetic pressure' she felt over the past year, sharing a stunning bikini snap to Instagram along with the caption: "HAVE A BODY NEUTRAL 2025, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, LOVE WITH EVERY INCH OF YOUR HEART. THANKS FOR ALL THE MEMORIES THIS YEAR."

She went on to explain she had experienced 'new levels of self-love and genuine confidence from within' before confirming she has 'never had any face or body surgeries or augmentation' done - besides for veneers on the top row of her teeth, which was done 'quite recently'.
"So far, I have not had any face or lip injections or fillers of any kind, but I do have a loving, old school facialist who I purchase serums and creams from and I started that when I was 20," she continued, also adding that she drinks a lot of water and sleeps on her back the day before photo shoots and red carpets.

Nelly went on to reveal: "Sometimes on the red carpet or at photo shoots my makeup artist uses face tape to give my eyes, skin and makeup more lift. Sometimes my stylist uses body tape to give a certain look to different silhouettes.
"Body makeup can also sometimes be contoured to achieve a certain look."
Explaining that 'makeup can do magical things', she added: "So can great eyebrows! So can a great hairstylist! So can great underthings!"

In the two snaps, the Canadian singer-songwriter said she wasn't wearing any makeup, as well as confirming she hadn't 'edited' or put 'filters' on the photos.
"But I do have a spray tan!" Nelly admitted, telling fans: "I have spider veins and they remind me of my mum and aunties and life so I think that’s why I haven’t parted with them so far."
The Y2K queen then rounded off: "Express yourself freely, celebrate your individuality and know that it’s perfectly OK to be OK with what you see in the mirror, and it’s also OK to want something different.
"We are all cute little humans just bouncing around the earth looking for hugs."
