Millie Bobby Brown seemingly confirms wedding to Jake Bongiovi with cryptic post

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi seem happier than ever after ignoring fans' concerns about them getting married too young

Millie Bobby Brown has seemingly confirmed she's tied the knot, having given away a huge clue in a sweet pic of her and new hubby Jake Bongiovi on Instagram.

The couple were first linked to one another back in June 2021, after being photographed in New York holding hands.

Jake, 22, then added fuel to the fire when he posted a photo of them both sitting in a car, with the caption: "BFF <3."

They confirmed their engagement in April 2023, with Millie, 20, sharing a cute Instagram photo of her and Jake embracing, with a new ring on show on her left hand.

Quoting Taylor Swift's hit 'Lover', she wrote: "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all."

Jake - who is the son of legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi - also shared the announcement on his own Instagram, simply saying: "Forever."

The news of their nuptials actually came from Jake's dad, who dropped the bombshell unexpectedly while on The One Show last week.

The 'You Give Love A Bad Name' singer told viewers that the ceremony was a small affair, but that his new daughter-in-law looked 'gorgeous'.

"They are great, they are absolutely fantastic," he revealed.

"It was a very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be. Yeah it is true."

Now Millie and Jake have spoken out about the news themselves - well, kind of.

A photo appeared on Instagram with the caption from the newlywed bride saying: "Who wants to go to @universalorlando???? Ussssssssss."

Posing with her husband at Universal Orlando resort in Florida, Millie could be seen wearing a pair of customised denim shorts that said 'WIFEY' on the rear, which she accessorised with a cap that added 'WIFE OF THE PARTY'.

Further pics in the carousel also showed the couple playing games, embracing in front of a Jurassic Park ride and holding hands as they strolled through the Florida attraction.

At the time their engagement was announced, while many fans shared their heartfelt congratulations, some commented to say they felt the duo were 'too young' to tie the knot.

“Unpopular opinion but she’s way too young to be engaged,” one said. “But age 19, you don’t even know who you are yet."

Another agreed: “Sorry to be a killjoy but this is not going to last, Millie you grew up too fast, you deserve a normal and fun adolescence. You are 19."

Jake’s rockstar dad Jon later defended the happy couple, saying that when it comes to relationships, there are more important factors.

Speaking about the topic on Andy Cohen Live, he said: "I don’t know if age matters if you find the right partner and you grow together.

"That would be my advice: Growing together is wise. So, I think all my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with, and we like them all."

Jon added: "Millie’s wonderful. Her whole family are great. Jake is very, very happy."

After the news, many Stranger Things fans also offered their commiserations to Noah Schnapp, who'd previously had a marriage pact with his co-star.

While promoting season four of the hit Netflix show last year, the pair discussed what they might do if neither of them meets someone in the future - and they said they reckon they would actually make a decent couple.

Millie told MTV News: "We said if we're not married by 40, we'll get married together because we'd be good roomies.

"Completely platonically, we would still be really good roomies."

Speaking to Noah, she added: "No kids, though, because I could not deal with a child of yours, yeah, that's my dealbreaker too. Yeah, no kids at all.

"Only dogs, and separate bedrooms, for sure, my God, you're so messy."
