Megan Fox defended over X-rated manicure as people make brutal dig

Megan Fox got a new set of X-rated false nails and a few social media users have something to say about it.

On March 27, the 39-year-old actress welcomed her fourth child, a little girl, with her ex-fiancé Machine Gun Kelly. She also has three boys with her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green.

After going silent on social media for a while, Megan is back in the online world - though not officially. She was tagged in a post by a nail artist of her newest pink claws on Monday (9 June).

Brittney Boyce, the nail artist behind Nails Of La on Instagram, shared a snap of Megan's gorgeous new pink nails, which are a coffin style and include silver gems on the sides.

And it turns out that while the nails are pretty, they also have a very NSFW hidden meaning.

In an interview with Allure, Boyce revealed that the placement of the studs was actually inspired by a Prince Albert piercing (a penis piercing, for those who aren’t familiar).

She told the publication: “I wanted to give her something new without going overboard. It’s the perfect mix of cute and cool for summer.

"We switched her usual almond shape to a medium coffin just to change up the vibe a bit. The two-tone pink aura keeps it soft, and the double chrome studs give it that Prince Albert edge.”

And while fans are evidently obsessed with the racy design, some were left wondering about the logistics of looking after a baby with such long talons.

“Beautiful but I'd find diaper detail a bit challenging," one commented, attracting four likes from similarly-minded critics.

However, others rushed to the star’s defence, with one arguing that 'moms are allowed to get their nails done'.

Another wrote: “Holy sh** you're all cRaZy ! Who really gives a sh** about her nails and if she changing diapers? Seriously!”

Meanwhile, a third said that 'she's allowed to get her nails done', while a fourth said they'd 'never heard anything more ridiculous and retrograde', adding: "A woman can be a mother even with her nails done!"

Megan’s pregnancy, which was announced last November, came as a shock to fans as it came after it was revealed that she and MGK had called their engagement off earlier in the year.

MGK - whose real name is Colson Baker - later confirmed the arrival with a short but sweet video on Instagram.

Coupled with a clip of the newborn's tiny hand, the star wrote: "She’s finally here!! Our little celestial seed."
