Martha Stewart has reflected on the warning she gave to JFK Jr. just a matter of days before he tragically lost his life in a plane crash.
Speaking at the season 16 premiere of The Real Housewives of New York City, the 85-year-old businesswoman opened up about watching Ryan Murphy's Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, which hit our screens back in February.
Stewart then revealed what she said to JFK Jr. when she saw him last, which happened to be the same week of his fatal plane crash in 1999.
"I was with John-John; this is JFK Jr. I was with him the Monday before the Friday when they died," Stewart told Toye, a celebrity makeup artist, while in their glam chair during the premiere on Tuesday (8 September).

"He called me. I was running Martha Stewart Living magazine, and he called me, and he said he’s in trouble and could he please talk to me about what to do with George, the magazine that he had started.
"And I said, 'Of course. Anything you want.'"
Stewart continued: "We had a very nice dinner.
"And then at the end of the dinner, I said to him, 'What are you doing this weekend?' And he said, 'Oh, we’re going to a wedding in Martha’s Vineyard. And I’m taking my wife and her sister.'

"And I said, 'Well, who’s flying?' He said, 'I’m flying.' I said, 'You have a co-pilot, right?' And he said, 'No, I don’t need a co-pilot.'"
She added: "I’ve thought about that so many times that I told him to get a co-pilot.
"I feel sorry."
JFK Jr. was the son of the 35th US President, John F. Kennedy, and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy.
He and his wife, Carolyn, tied the knot back in September 1996, but just three years later they suffered a tragic fate and died on 16 July 1999.
John, Carolyn, and Carolyn's older sister Lauren, lost their lives when a plane that John was flying crashed off the coast and into the waters of Martha's Vineyard.
Murphy's limited series dramatised the romance and tragic deaths of JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, with the show quickly becoming very popular amongst FX viewers.
Inspired by Elizabeth Beller’s book, Once Upon a Time: The Captivating Life of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, the nine-parter stars Paul Anthony Kelly as JFK Jr. and Sarah Pidgeon as Carolyn.
The show is set in the 1990s, chronicling how John first crossed paths with Carolyn, who was working at Calvin Klein at the time, to their tragic deaths at the end of the millennium.
