Mariah Carey once revealed how many people she has slept with, after an ex partner branded their relationship as 'wrong and inappropriate'.
When it comes to dating in the spotlight, it doesn't seem to be one of the luxuries that comes with fame.
Little to no privacy on dates, cameras following your every move, and constant speculation. But with wild after parties and notoriety comes a whole lot more opportunities to have a fling here and there.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan in 2019, Mariah Carey revealed that she was actually a 'prude' in comparison to her fellow superstars.
The star let loose that 'others in the field' didn't exactly have the same approach to dating.
When asked about her sexual partners, the singer said: "I haven’t had that many, but there has been a variety pack. I’ve only been with five people in my life, so I’m kind of a prude, honestly, compared to most others in the field."

And it seems that she might be right, after taking a look at other celebrity's admissions.
Christopher Andersen, author of rockstar Mick Jagger's biography, revealed: "By one estimate, Mick Jagger has slept with 4,000 women over the course of his life."
But later added: "In retrospect I think that may be kind of a low figure.
NBA champion Lamar Odom also revealed the number of sexual partners he has had.

Speaking to PEOPLE magazine, he said: "I have been obsessed with sex for as long as I can remember. There were too many strippers to count. It wasn't a big deal, but often I would pay them. I never thought less of them."
The star even admitted to cheating on Khloé Kardashian throughout the course of their marriage.
Mariah also opened up about a turbulent relationship she had soon after her debut album became the best-selling record of 1991.

Despite the 20-year age gap, the singer married Sony Music boss Tommy Mottola - who previously had worked with Michael Jackson and Celine Dion.
"You might want to picture a child bride," Mariah noted, describing her younger self. "There was a conscious effort to keep me as this all-American, whatever that means, girl. It was very controlled.
"There was no freedom for me as a human being."
She even described the relationship as 'being like a prisoner'.

After eight years of marriage, the two split, and Mottola has since branded the relationship 'wrong and inappropriate'.
