Ex-Made in Chelsea star, Louise Thompson, has been hospitalised after her fiancé, Ryan Libbey, issued fans with a heartbreaking update on her health.

The 33-year-old high-profile reality TV star has sadly been battling severe health issues and complications after giving birth to her first child at the end of 2021.

She has since been rushed to the hospital with Ryan taking to his Instagram story last night (4 February) to reveal that Louise had been there for almost two weeks.

He told his followers: "Louise has been in hospital for 12 days now.

"We don't know when she will be ready to come home yet. But thank you to everyone who has sent messages of love and support to our family. It does help."

The 33-year-old fitness trainer then shared a picture of himself and his son, little two-year-old Leo-Hunter, adding: "We're missing mummy everyday."

Louise was last active on her Instagram account about a week ago after sharing a series of sweet snaps of her and her son during a sunny holiday away.

She captioned the getaway holiday photo dump: "These are exactly the types of photos that were stuck together in a collage by my dad on a wall in my downstairs loo at home that I used to stare at when I was feeling really really sad.

"I’d look at them and long to be that happy and carefree again. I used to talk to the girl in the photo and cry. I’d say please get me back there, back to that.

"Please can I unlearn what I know. Please can I just be normal again. I was wearing ill fitting Oakleys, a cap and had busy hair poking out the side."

Louise - who was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2018 - added: "I LOVE that I’m leaning into that same fuss free image now.

"When you have kids, stress, illness, age, or anything against you, you might find yourself in a position where you have to start using your resources a little more wisely (I speak for myself here)…

"You might notice that you start to sacrifice looking uber polished all the time in favour of conserving energy for fun and other important things in life."

She concluded the heartfelt post writing: "Learning to lean into and be grateful for those imperfect in-between moments because nothing lasts forever."

Louise has been very open about her health issues with her fans and has previously opened up about her struggles with ulcerative colitis, a chronic bowel condition that affects the colon and rectum.

This particular illness can cause its patients to suffer with extreme weight loss, leading Louise - who also suffers with Lupus - to later share a video showing her weighing herself and revealing she weighs 7st 12.5lbs [110.5lbs], admitting she checks her weight regularly out of fear of losing any.
