Kristen Bell is opening up about her regrets when it comes to marriage, considering she's been with the same man for more than a decade.
Bell and husband, Dax Shepard, have been married since 2013, and went on to have two children in 2013 and 2014. However, like many, it was not always an easy relationship.
Over the years, the 45-year-old actor has been candid about the work it takes to keep their marriage going, admitting to previously being someone who would storm out during arguments and enjoy the thrill of a dramatic exit.
But they have both laid down the groundwork to ensure they feel comfortable and happy with one another.

After so long, it’s not uncommon for couples to need to go back and revisit things, but what about regrets regarding sex?
To that, Bell revealed on Monday’s episode of her husband’s podcast, Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, that she feels like she somewhat missed out.

She was joined by co-star Justin Lupe, having been working together on their Netflix Nobody Wants This comedy series, which also starred Adam Brody.

That’s when Shepard joked about his wife’s past, and she let slip how she really feels about marrying when she did.
“Kristen is a little regretful,” he said. “She was very sexually active, and she wishes she was even more sexually active.”
Bell went on to clarify that she wishes she had dated more when she was younger, telling her hubby: “I just wish I would have butterflied around a little more.”
He then asked her, on a scale of one to four, how sexually active she was in her twenties before they got together.

To this, she shared that she was a ‘four’ but added: “And I just wish I maybe would have gone [to a] six.”
Regardless of her regrets, she has been very vocal about her love for her husband, and also how open they are with their communication.
In one instance, Shepard noted in an episode of his podcast last year, that while he and his wife have ‘incredible chemistry,’ he didn’t think it was as good as with Brody in their show.

“My friend... we watched that scene together, the kissing scene, which I’d argue is the very best kissing scene ever, ever put on film,” he said. “And my best friend, Aaron, from childhood, he goes, ‘Does she ever kiss you like that?’ No, I didn’t even know she could kiss like that.”
On the flip side, Bell shared her own side of their trust.
"Even if Dax hooks up with the most beautiful person in the world at work, I know he's committed to our family," she told E! News. "I know he's coming home. I know he loves our children. I know he strives to be a great husband and father."
She went on to say: "So maybe there could be a day where I'm like, 'I'm actually really nervous that you spend time with that person.' And he could say, 'Oh, OK, let's talk about it. What makes you nervous? What are you thinking?' We have a very open communication.

"We root for each other. When he got to make out with Minka Kelly on Parenthood, I was like, 'Yes. Get it.' We're married, we're not dead."
