Kim Kardashian's followers think she may have just taken a swipe at ex-husband Kanye West with her new collab.

Taking to social media on Tuesday (18 February) Kim shared some pretty huge news, explaining her brand, Skims, has partnered up with Nike.

"Introducing NikeSKIMS. A new brand coming this spring for the body obsessed," she wrote.

"Designed to sculpt and engineered to perform."

The partnership, called NikeSKIMS, is set to include training apparel, footwear and accessories designed for women.

Following Kim's announcement, many of her followers were quick to share their thoughts.

One person wrote: "Kanye bout to have a field day."

While another said: "Good to see a West back in Nike. Nature is healing."

And a third added: "You just keep winning."

After working with Nike for many years, Kanye ended his partnership with the brand back in 2014 over an issue with royalties.

"The old me, without a daughter, would have taken the Nike deal because I just love Nikes so much," he told Angie Martinez at the time.

"But the new me, with a daughter, takes the Adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family."

Around the same time Kim announced her partnership, Kanye took to his own social media where he seemingly made a sarcastic dig at the brand.

"THIS NEW NIKE DESIGN REALLY MOVED US / REALLY INSPIRED US AT YEEZY WE APPRECIATE YOU GUYS WORK TO THE TEAM TEAM BEHIND THESE THANK FOR MAKING SOMETHING NEW AND SPECIAL, LOVE YE," he wrote, sharing some photos of Nike's upcoming release, worn by basketball star AJ Dybantsa.

Some social media users claimed the timing of Kanye's post was intentional, with one writing: "Someone’s mad Kim got a deal with Nike and they never will again."

A second added: "Trying to sabotage her moment per usual."

Meanwhile, someone else wrote: "Wait, so skims announces her upcoming collaboration with nike that’s launching in spring."

Tyla has reached out to Kim and Kanye's reps for comment.

After splitting with Nike, Kanye went on to team up with Adidas but parted ways with the company in 2022 over allegations of antisemitism.

In October that year, the brand wrote in a statement: "Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech.

"Ye's recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company's values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness."

At the time, Adidas discontinued the Yeezy collection.
