Sir Lewis Hamilton has issued a defiant statement on Kim Kardashian’s presence in the paddock following his Monaco Grand Prix podium placement.
On Sunday (7 June), the Ferrari driver equalled Ayrton Senna’s eighth podium record at Monaco, taking P2 after finishing behind Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli.
In a post-race press conference, the 41-year-old described his hard-fought finish as ‘such a great feeling’ considering the ‘tricky conditions’, adding: “It was the hardest conditions out there, and we’ve had such a great turnout today as well, so I’ll definitely take it.”
Among the team of Ferrari supporters was Kim Kardashian, 45, and her younger sister Khloé, 41, the former of whom the sportsman has been romantically linked to since January.

The pair have remained relatively tight-lipped regarding their relationship status until now, with the F1 driver further fuelling rumours after appearing twice in Kardashian’s recent Instagram dump.

The Skims founder’s first-time presence in the paddock was met with much fanfare, and now Hamilton has lifted the lid on what it meant for him to have the businesswoman in his corner.
“It is amazing to have her come this weekend and to have that support,” he said in a post-race press conference.
He said it was ‘incredible’ to be supported by his friends and how ‘amazing’ it was to have a bunch of ‘good people’ around him.
Regarding the ‘support’, the British racing driver added: “She does that for me every day.”
Kardashian has caused a stir among F1 fans after she seemingly ‘snubbed’ Sky Sports commentator Martin Brundle’s request for an interview.

Those who walk the grid pre-race are often approached by the broadcaster for a quick chat, with everyone from Tom Holland to Cara Delevigne taking part in the almost-ceremonial chats.
The reality TV icon seemingly ‘violated’ the so-called ‘Brundle clause’ when she refused to speak to the interviewer - and it’s ruffled fans’ feathers.
After introducing himself, Brundle asked the mother-of-four: “How are you today?”
Despite briefly looking in his direction, Kardashian elected not to reply.
A security guard then appeared to step between the pair, prompting Brundle to respond: "You don’t need to push me, mate.”
He continued his persuit: "Normally, people will have a quick chat with us. Are you enjoying F1?”
"Okay, Kim and Khloé, so we’re not talking today. I like to believe they might do...”

One fan who watched the now-viral interaction said: "Lewis should have had a word with his Mrs and tell her, 'Don’t ignore Martin. Lewis knows the score'.”
Another said: "Oh no, I thought I liked her until this. He's the legend here.”
Brundle, a former F1 driver, has previously said that he ‘sort of likes it’ when celebrities ignore him on the grid.
The comment was made after Megan Thee Stallion seemingly ignored his request for her to ‘rap’ to him during the 2021 United States Grand Prix.
At the time, her bodyguard intervened and physically blocked Brundle's path.
Reflecting on the incident later, Brundle revealed Formula 1 had introduced measures designed to prevent similar situations from occurring.
"There have been new rules introduced that any celebrities on the grid must not have bodyguards any longer," he explained to Sky Sports F1 at the time.
"It must be the 'Brundle clause', and they’re obliged to talk to me. I sort of like it if they ignore me, to be honest."
Tyla has previously contacted Kim Kardashian's representatives for comment.

Hamilton, a seven-time world champion, had a famously frosty exchange with Brundle last year at the British GP.
During a special edition of the F1 show, which took place at the track in front of the fans, the reporter praised him for his ‘iconic' first photo at Maranello when he joined Ferrari in January 2025.
"Thanks man, that means a lot coming from you, you don’t have too many positive things to say always,” Hamilton quipped.
Brundle replied: “Well that’s not true,” before moving the conversation on.
It’s not clear when Kardashian and Hamilton first cross paths; however, they are pictured together at events with their partners at the time on several occasions over the years.

The pair both attend Kate Hudson's star-studded New Year's Eve party in Aspen, Colorado.
Dating rumours begin to swirl as The Sun reports that they take a trip together to a luxury hotel in the Cotswolds, UK.
Just one day later, Kardashian and Hamilton are seen entering a Paris hotel together, before heading to Aqua Kyoto for a date.
A source tells People: “It was a romantic meetup.”
On 8 February, the stars make their first public appearance together as they are spotted at the Super Bowl.
Kardashian and Hamilton share similar desert landscape snaps on Instagram, suggesting they were on a trip with one another.
A source tells Us Weekly: “They are going strong and really happy. Lewis is head over heels and those closest to him believe he has finally met his match. He has waited over a decade for his dream girl and is crazy about her.”
Following the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, Kardashian posts a pic of her Gucci look. Hamilton comments with a heart-eyed emoji.

Later that month, they’re photographed in Tokyo together. The racing car driver is in Japan for the F1, while Kardashian is there for a spring break vacation with sister Khloé and their children.
Kardashian makes her debut on Hamilton’s Instagram page, appearing in a video of him driving, where she says: “That’s insane.”
The pair are seen watching Justin Bieber’s headline set at Coachella weekend one.
Kardashian appears to soft-launch Hamilton on Instagram as she’s seen sitting on a man’s (who has tattoos that seem to match Hamilton’s) lap. She captions the post: “Coachella Hallelujah.”

Kardashian hard launches Hamilton on her Instagram feed, posting a pic and video of them cycling in NYC in her carousel.
“Lately,” she writes in the caption of the post.
Days later, the reality star supports him in Monaco for the Grand Prix. She’s seen hugging Hamilton before the race and then watching from the sidelines.
Hamilton says of Kardashian after the race: “It is amazing to have her come this weekend and to have that support.
“It is amazing to have good people around you, good people supporting you, and she does that for me every day.”
