Keith Urban awkwardly dodged a question about Nicole Kidman, two months before their divorce was made public.
And, according to the New York Post, in an another interview, he abruptly ended the Zoom the discussion when asked a question about his wife's sex scenes. Yeah, pretty awkward.
For those not in the loop, it was revealed this week that the New Zealand country singer, 57, and Big Little Lies actress, 58, have filed for divorce, following nearly two decades of marriage.
Kidman petitioned on Tuesday (30 September) to end the marriage in a Nashville court, with the filing stating that the marriage 'suffered irreconcilable differences'.

According to reports, the detailed agreement suggests that the divorce had been in the works for well over a month at least, with Urban signing a parenting plan on August 29, and Kidman doing the same on September 6.
And now, as fans look back on the former couple's relationship, a few older interviews with Urban have resurfaced that show him seemingly dodging questions about Kidman.

The NY Post reports that in July, the musician ended a radio interview over a question about his wife.

During an appearance on Australia’s Mix 102.3’s 'Hayley & Max in the Morning', he allegedly left the call when the hosts asked him about watching Kidman’s on-screen love scenes.
The exact question from presenter Max Burford was: "What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful, younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful loves scenes on TV and radio?"
Burford then reportedly asked: "What just happened here? He’s disconnected from Zoom.”
“I think his team hung up on us because they didn’t want us to ask that question,” he added, joking: “He’s gone. See you, Keith.”

While co-host Hayley Pearson said they believed they 'upset him' because he 'doesn’t like the personal stuff'.
However, a source later squashed this and told People that Urban didn’t actually leave the phone call.
The insider reportedly said: “Keith did not hang up, period. He doesn’t host his Zoom interviews. This is a complete nothingburger.”
They said Urban is 'very easygoing' and had no issue with the questions being asked.

However, another interview has resurfaced, this time with Urban on camera as he chatted to Ryan Seacrest on 'On Air With Ryan Seacrest,' also in July.
Seacrest gushed: "Do people tell you your wife is in everything? Like everything. Nicole Kidman is in everything."
He reportedly laughed off the question before firing back: "She’s almost as busy as you. Not quite, but very close."
The host then pushed, again, asking: "'Is that something with your life, her life and mapping it all out with production and touring - that's a job, isn't it?"

To which Urban responded: "It's a job. Yeah. Life is in session."
