Katy Perry has been awarded damages of $1.8 million by a judge following her legal battle with a disabled war veteran.
Popstar Perry has been locked in the legal battle with Carl Westcott following a house purchase back in 2020.
Westcott is also the father-in-law of Real Housewives of Dallas cast member Kameron Westcott.
The 'Roar' singer bought a $15 million Montecito home from the veteran five years ago, and they have been locked in a legal battle since 2020.

The huge mansion had eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, and is spread over 2.5 acres of land.
It includes a main house, a three-bedroom guest house, and a one-bedroom pool house.
There is also a gym building, a pool, and an equipment building, and Meghan Markle and Oprah Winfrey live in the same fancy neighbourhood.

Just days after agreeing the sale, Westcott said he wanted to back out of the deal and cancel the transaction.
He insisted he was 'incapacitated' on painkillers at the time he signed the documents and paperwork for the sale.
Westcott then filed a lawsuit against Perry's business manager, Bernie Gudvi.
Katy is currently thought to be in a relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, but previously bought this house with her ex, Orlando Bloom.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Joseph Lipner ruled in Katy Perry's favour earlier this year, saying that the veteran was of 'sound mind' and could not provide any 'persuasive evidence that he lacked capacity to enter into a real estate contract.'
According to People, the payment amount was calculated by removing the value of retained capital (over $1 million) plus Westcott's lost interest from the rental value the property that grew over the period.
However, it wasn't all good news for Katy.
Despite her requests, the judge reduced the amount Perry had asked for repairs.
The figure was whittled down to $259,581.84, after Perry asked for $1,343,401.95, which she said was needed to repair dilapidation at the property that Westcott allowed it to fall into during the extended legal battle.

Her legal team claim the property suffered 'pervasive flood damage' in early 2024, as well as a large tree fall on a structure,
Her lawyers argued the singer was 'entitled to $3,525,000 in rental value'.
She claims she missed out on the whopping sum thanks to the delays caused by the extended legal battle.
Perry wanted a total of $4,868,401.95 after her desired repairs cost was added.
Despite this victory, Westcott's lawyers insist it's Perry and her team left owing money.
They allege she still owes the disabled veteran $6 million of the $15 million she agreed to pay.
His attorneys submitted documents on November 7 showing that only $9 million had been paid.
After the repair costs are deducted, it brings the amount down to $5,740,418.18.
Westcott's lawyer asked Katy if she would 'gain money or anything else from the outcome of this litigation',to which she said: "Yes … justice; I stand to lose money if it does not work in my favour."
According to Rolling Stone, Katy's team paid $9 million into escrow and took control of the property in 2024, and rented it to actor Chris Pratt and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger.
