Katie Price has opened up about the extremely traumatic birth she had with her oldest son, Harvey.
The 45-year-old mum-of-five revealed her own mum, Amy, 'held her down like a hostage' during the ordeal which saw doctors being forced to break her waters because she was two and half weeks overdue.
Katie discussed the experience with her sister during an episode of The Katie Price Show podcast which aired yesterday (8 February).
The pair, who have six kids between them, chatted about their pregnancies and births, with Katie reminicing on Harvey's birth: "They said they’re gonna have to break my waters.
"It was like, I mean, all I can say is it was like a knitting need hook and they were literally going pull and pop. When I say I thought my eyeballs were gonna come out of my eyes like gobstoppers, I'm not joking."

She continued: "I remember looking at mum and Sally as if they were holding me down as a hostage because you know I can’t bear anything like that.
"Oh my God, it hurt. I was looking at mum like, 'Help me! Help me!'"
Katie went on to reveal how she ended up delivering 21-year-old Harvey, who was later diagnosed with septo-optic dysplasia, autism and Prader-Willi syndrome.

"I had him squatting," she added. "All I will describe it is like the ring of fire. The noises I was making, I swear I had a family of wolves in me."
Despite all that, however, the former glamour model said Harvey was actually her 'easiest baby', recalling: "He literally came everywhere we me, to work, to friend’s houses, if people came round mine we would all just get Harvey up. He was there.
"He was the easiest baby, but he was only easy because he couldn’t see and I didn’t know about all his complications. He used to just sit there and drink a lot."
Continuing to talk about Harvey, whose dad is football player Dwight Yorke, Katie said: "He always used to be in the bed with me because he drank a lot and now I know it’s because of his diabetes.

"But Harvey Bear, I have had no aggravation from any dad, it’s been me and my Harvey Price, me and my man."
Following Harvey's birth back in 2002, the reality TV star went on to welcome Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with her ex Peter Andre who she was married to between 2005 to 2009 after first meeting on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! back in 2004.
Following the split, she then had Bunny, nine, and five-year-old Jett with Kieran Hayler who she was married to between 2013 to 2021.
