We should all know by now that everyone's relationship is unique to them and their partner.

From work schedules and living arrangements all the way through to socialising and sex life - it's clear that no one relationship is the same as any other.

And that's clearly the case for celebs as Justin and Hailey Bieber have revealed their bizarre strict rule they swear by to keep a happy marriage.

The couple, who tied the knot back in 2019 and are now expecting their first child together, have an agreement about exactly how they choose to spend their time in the bedroom.

Speaking to Elle magazine a few years back in 2020, the 27-year-old Rhode founder revealed the one item they're absolutely never allowed to bring into their bed.

Opening up about her domestic life, she told the outlet: "I definitely enjoy being home more than I enjoy being away."

Sharing that she and Justin love a good sofa snuggle while watching reruns of Friends with their cats, Sushi and Tuna, Hailey also revealed what house rules they had established together.

She continued: "I try to read more than be on my phone in bed.

"We have a rule: No phones in bed unless it’s absolutely necessary."

Gushing about her hubby, Hailey went on: "He’s an incredible, amazing man and such a good partner to go through life with.

"There is no one else I would have ever wanted to spend my life with except him. So, I’m lucky."

Acknowledging that some may think it unusual to be married at such a young age, she explained: "I don’t judge what anyone my age or any of my friends are going through, because it’s normal.

"They should be still figuring out who they want to be with."

After the news broke about Hailey announcing her pregnancy back in May, some may remember that she wasn’t always so sure about motherhood.

In fact, she used to be 'scared' to have children while being in the public eye.

Speaking in an interview with The Times last year, Hailey was asked if baby Biebers were on the horizon anytime soon, to which she laughed and responded: "I literally cry about this all the time! I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends.

"I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child."

She continued: "We can only do the best we can to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe."

Opening up about her own upbringing under the glare of the media, she added: "When you’re out and about and people are stopping your dad or uncle and asking for pictures, you start to understand why."
