Celebrities getting outrageous pay checks for performances and appearances is part of the job right?

Salaries reaching over a million for a few minutes work seems to be one of the perks of the job, and for Justin Bieber, he reportedly earned a pretty hefty fee for a private performance at a wedding.

The singer performed for Indian billionaire heir, Anant Ambani, and his fiancée Radhika Merchant at their pre-wedding celebrations in Mumbai.

The performance saw Bieber take to the stage and perform 'Baby', 'Love Yourself' and 'Peaches', as part of the couple's celebrations ahead of their July 12 wedding. The couple have spent millions over the past 12 months in celebrations, with their highly anticipated wedding expected to be an extravagant display.

With no expense spared, Bieber's reported fee hasn't gone down well with fans who have branded it as 'tasteless'.

It's said that the soon-to-be father took home a whopping $10m according to reports.

One person commented on social media: "Tasteless display of $$$."

Another shared: "$10M could’ve paid for flushable toilets across India."

"Awful message for society today," said a third.

However, some fans commented on how 'easy' the fee must be for Bieber, who played less than his usual tour set.

One person posted online: "That’s the smile of a man that just made the easiest 10 m ever."

Another added: "Only 10 mill that’s nothing for a billionaire I’d hold out for at least 20!"

"Bieber said I ain’t gonna shave or nothing. Just wear a white tank and show up and do my thing. What a flex. Easy," said a third.

The smiling picture of Bieber is a world away from a recent appearance where he was left looking shocked after a reporter who asked his pregnant wife, Hailey Bieber about ex girlfriend Selena Gomez.

In a clip which has since gone viral online, the 'Baby' hitmaker and Hailey could be seen leaving a restaurant in Los Angeles when they were unexpectedly confronted by a team of reporters and paparazzi.

Whilst there's nothing new about the couple being surrounded by fans and the media, what happened next shocked the famous couple.

The reporter asked if the couple's future child would be named 'Emory Bieber', referring to an interview in the past where Selena hinted that she and Bieber would name their child Emory.

Whilst neither Hailey nor Justin appeared to be anything more than shocked, the Selena reference has riled fans online who have hit back at bringing up Justin's ex.

Tyla has reached out to Bieber's representatives for comment on this story.
