JoJo Siwa signs off emotional new statement with different name as she reveals her ‘real’ personality

JoJo Siwa is feeling reflective.

The former Dance Moms star has shared a recap of her time on Celebrity Big Brother on social media, as her breakup with Kath Ebbs was recently made public among wild rumours circulating about her close friendship with fellow housemate Chris Hughes.

JoJo and the former Love Island contestant became one of the biggest talking points of the series this year. The pair’s friendship raised eyebrows at times, as viewers speculated whether JoJo, 21, and Chris, 32, were too ‘flirty’ with each other. However, the two stars have maintained that their relationship is platonic.

Since the reality TV show has ended, Siwa has since taken to social media to address her time on CBB.

“Quite emotional today as I’ve landed back in LA, saying goodbye to the UK, and one of my favourite things that I’ve ever done in my life,” the singer and dancer said in the caption for her recap Instagram post.

“The last 20 days I’ve faced some of the highest highs and lowest lows and it’s so crazy to think that all of them were public, but it’s honestly quite a beautiful thing.

“So very grateful for the love and support I received from you while I was in the house. Being so vulnerable and not know what the world will do or say was scary, but coming out of the house and seeing the absolute outpour of love and support that happened while I was in there was just wild and made me cry with tears of happiness.

“It makes me very emotional and just means so much. Thank you.”

She continued: “I’ve learned so much about myself in the Big Brother House and wouldn’t change a thing about the journey. I wish I could go back in time and live it over and over again.”

JoJo shared an adorable shout out to her fellow housemates: “To my perfectly dysfunctional functional family from inside the house…. Gosh do I love you guys. Thank you for becoming family, for all the good cooking, all the good chats, every laugh, every dance step, every hug, every cry, everything. This wouldn’t have been the same with any other people, so happy to have you all in my life forever now.”

JoJo added: "Special shout to Christopher, Jack, Donna, Chesatron, and Danny… my sweetest fellow finalists, getting to know you all the most, I’m gonna miss the absolute ship out of you."

She finished her tribute with: “Been crying while trying to write this message so I’m gonna end it now, but truly an absolutely amazing time that I have nothing but the most love and gratitude for. Thank you again. Love Joelle.”

Just in case you didn’t know, Joelle is JoJo’s birth name, and it didn’t take fans long to notice she used it in the post.

“Honestly you handled yourself with grace,” one follower responded in the comments. “I hope that you allow yourself to embrace the beauty of Joelle and explore her.”

“We loved getting to know Joelle,” another fan commented.

A third person shared: “Loved you in the house @itsjojosiwa both you and @chrishughesofficial were incredible, showing the real you for [the] first time and feeling free to was special, please come [back] to the UK soon.”

During the series, JoJo defended herself after Mickey Rourke made homophobic comments about her. The ‘Karma’ singer also came out as queer after identifying as lesbian. Once the series ended last Friday, JoJo reportedly broke up with Ebbs at the after party.
