John Cena has been hailed as an ‘absolute legend’ by fans after unveiling his new look via cosmetic surgery months after calling time on his WWE career.
The 49-year-old took to social media on 29 June to share an image of himself and Dr Ken Anderson, founder and director of the Anderson Center for Hair.
The board-certified expert, named one of the world's best hair transplant doctors for 2026 by Ape to Gentleman, recently helped the Grand Slam Champion on his hair restoration journey.
Cena had previously undergone a hair transplant with Dr Anderson in November 2024.

“Round 2 of FUE Treatement and this time I went all in for best possible results.
“Thank you @KenAndersonMD and the staff at Anderson Center for Hair for accompanying me on this journey!,” the Peacemaker icon wrote via X on 29 June.

In case you were unaware, FUE stands for Follicular Unit Excision and is a minimally invasive hair transplant where individual hair follicles are taken from the back of the head and implanted into balding or thinning areas, as per the International Society of Hair Restoration.
Distinctive advantages of FUE treatment include there being no linear scars (although it does still scar) and a fast recovery time.
In response to Cena coming clean about his hair restoration journey, Dr Anderson wrote: “Always great seeing you, my friend. Your commitment to the process and long-term hair health has made all the difference.
“I'm grateful for the trust you've placed in me and my team, and honored to continue being part of your journey."

The Never Seen 17 icon coming clean about his recent FUE treatment comes after he admitted WWE fans were bullying him about his appearance at live events.
On The Pat McAfee Show last year, he said: “You chant, and you make me feel small, and you embarrass me… Y'all don't know what that's like.
“That is straight-up bullying. That's just not cool. I don't like it. So, thank you for bullying me into getting surgical hair replacement.
“That's how far y'all push me.”
Fans have praised the Little Brother actor following his latest post, with one social media user writing: “Never thought i would see a bald @JohnCen - looks actually good on him.”
A second replied: “Congrats!! That’s my dream! To get this procedure done.”
“John Cena can definitely work in biopic of Jeff Bezos with this look,” joked someone else.
A fourth said: “Nah John Cena really said ‘if you want something done right, go all in’ and lived it. Absolute legend for committing to the process like this!”
Cena, who is set to appear at Fanatics Fest next month, recently discussed whether he would ever come out of retirement following his final wrestling match against Gunther last December at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
He told US Weekly that ‘never’ was a difficult word to use, and that he ‘hates speaking in absolutes’.

"It would be financial suicide for someone to court me in a position where I would have another match, and I truly mean that,” he said. “So if you're in the business of torching currency, that's the only way to get me back in the ring."
Following his departure from the ring, Cena continues to work with WWE, having most recently appeared at Backlash in Tampa, and has a slew of other acting projects in the works.
These include: Coyote vs. Acme, Matchbox the Movie, and The Janson Directive, based on the posthumous novel by Robert Ludlum.
