Jesy Nelson has candidly opened up about the 'tough' truth of her split from her partner just a matter of months after her twins' heartbreaking diagnosis.
The 34-year-old British singer announced her pregnancy with Zion Foster, 27, back in January 2025 and revealed in March of that year that her twin babies had been diagnosed with pre-stage TTTS.
The condition refers to twin-to-twin transfusion and sees twins sharing one placenta, as well as a network of blood vessels that supply both oxygen and nutrients, instead of each feeding off their own.
This can result in the vessel connections within the placenta not being evenly dispersed, potentially triggering an imbalance of blood exchange between the babies.

In the worst of cases, one baby could be underfed as a result, prompting malnourishment or worse, organ failure, and the other baby overfed, which could leave them susceptible to an overwork of the heart.

Jesy welcomed daughters Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster in May of last year.
They were born prematurely at just 31 weeks, and Jesy said she thought the TTTS had 'cleared up' following their birth, but tragically revealed in January that they have another rare, life-altering condition.
The little girls have SMA Type 1, spinal muscular atrophy, which the NHS explains is a rare genetic condition that can cause muscle weakness. Type 1 means it is present in babies less than six months old.
She later announced her engagement to Zion in September, but the pair have since decided to part ways just weeks after Jesy revealed that it is likely her twins will never be able to walk due to the rare disease.
Her relationship and the birth of her twins are set to be the focus of a new Prime Video series, Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix.

Speaking at a recent screening for the upcoming doc, Jesy shared with fans a little more about how she and Zion are finding co-parenting.
"We're doing good. It's been tough, I'm not going to bullsh*t - it is really tough, and I think that's understandable with everything that we've gone through," she explained.
"But we're getting on with it, and our girls are our focus. They're happy, and they're doing really well, and that's what we can ask for as their parents."
Elsewhere during the event, Jesy also explained why she wanted to share the documentary now, saying that now was the 'best time' to do it.
"This is the best time to do it, because how amazing that I have all of these memories to show my girls when they get older. I just think the universe is just wild, because the minute I let the cameras in, within two days of filming, I was rushed into the hospital to have an emergency operation. You just couldn't write it," she recalled.
With that said, though, Jesy did admit it was 'tough' watching the documentary back.
"I'm just so grateful that you guys got everything, because I really believe that we're going to make real change," she said. "I really feel it and I'm so proud that, you know we're going to raise a lot of awareness in terms of everything with their diagnosis - even down to the twin-to-twin transfusion."
The X Factor star went on to reveal exactly how sharing this journey has helped her through such an understandably challenging process.
"It's always hard, because I think a lot of people would maybe choose to not share this. But for me, when you go through something like this in your life, it puts everything into perspective," she reflected.
"The sh*t I used to care about and worry about just seems so insignificant to me now. It's so important to me for everyone to see this."
Jesy concluded: "I just really hope that when people watch it, if they're going through anything similar, you can just watch it, and think it doesn't matter what you're going through, you have to know that there's always light at the end of the tunnel.
"It will get better."
Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix will be available to watch on Prime Video next week (13 February)
