Former flames Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have been jointly slammed by online critics this week for hosting a controversially themed birthday party for their children.
The exes reunited last weekend, not as a couple, but as co-parents to their eight-year-old daughter Stormi, who celebrated her special day on Sunday (1 Feb). Their son, Aire, also turned four the following day.
For those in need of a reminder, Jenner, 28, and 34-year-old Scott split for good after six years in January 2023, following several months on and off. The Kardashians star went on to date Academy Award-winning actor Timothée Chalamet, 30, whilst the rap star has remained single ever since.
To mark last weekend's birthday double-whammy, however, Jenner and Scott joined heads for a festival-themed party. The decorations were desert-themed, showing Jenner's Los Angeles residence decked out with huge rock formations and cacti.

Images shared to social media also showed signage reading 'Stormi World' and 'Planet Aire', which included a custom roller rink, monster trucks, and Labubus.
The entrance to the party featured a pair of inflatable heads modelled on both Stormi and Aire, which have since been interpreted as nods to Scott's Astroworld album cover art.
The same structure also flanked the entrance to the musician's 2021 'Astroworld Festival', which, in 2021, ended in tragedy when a fatal crowd crush triggered compressive asphyxiation that killed eight people, with a further two dying in hospital in the days that followed.
Following the incident, 10 wrongful death lawsuits were filed against Scott and Live Nation, with all of the lawsuits being settled privately, Associated Press reported. In 2023, a grand jury also refused to pursue criminal charges against the rapper, who had denied seeing the crowd surge while performing.
Fans were left surprised by the decision, as one Reddit user hit out: "I mean what child doesn’t dream of a four year old horrific crowd crush event as a birthday party theme!! This is appalling. Have some shame and don’t include your kids in that s**t."

Another added: "Besides the obvious, it’s also so damn ugly. Like this is clearly not for the child, but for them."
A third continued: "This is so obviously in poor taste but also… how self-obsessed do you have to be to make every single one of your kids birthday parties centered around your album? God forbid they have their own interests and be their own people."
Describing it as 'hollow and creepy', a fourth continued: "I’m having trouble convincing my own eyes that it’s real."
It's not the first time 'Astroworld' has been referenced for his children's birthday; in 2019, 'StormiWorld' merch, including beanies and tie-dye sweatshirts, was made in honour of her first birthday.
They said: "It’s my birthday and I can fly if I want to."
Tyla has contacted Scott's and Jenner's representatives for comment.
