Holland Taylor makes unexpected admission about Sarah Paulson after brutally honest 32-year age gap confession

In an emotional speech given in public this week, Holland Taylor gave a special shout-out to her girlfriend, Sarah Paulson, as the latter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Gushing over the much-loved American Horror Story actress, the 82-year-old kicked things off by praising her 'shining star'.
"Sarah, the actress, is first of all a wild creature in the animal kingdom," Taylor began during Tuesday's (2 December) ceremony. "Warm blooded, instinctive, mysterious. And Sarah is dangerous — trust me in this — not dangerous like a snake, more like a mongoose.
"You know, those darling furry, little creatures that kill snakes."

The A-list duo aren't just on-screen stars in their own right, but have been involved in a romantic relationship for several years - something some fans mightn't have realised given their almighty age-gap.
For those in need of a reminder, Golden Globe winner Paulson is 50, meaning she and Taylor actually boast an age difference of 32 years.
They first met in 2005, but didn’t start dating until Holland 'slid into' Paulson's DMs a decade later, going on to make a number of red carpet appearances together.
Despite this, the pair very rarely discuss the nature of their relationship with members of the press, though Paulson once made an honest admission about the age gap.
During their latest outing, L-Word actress Taylor applauded hero other-half's 'commitment to truth' as a performer.
"Nothing interferes with her laser perception of her character’s traits, its habitat, vulnerabilities, its heroism, its ugliness, terrible truths, its comic pathos," Taylor continued. "She zeros in to a story’s central struggle, where most of us aren’t even aware of our own."
The Primetime Emmy-winner went on to predict Paulson might make a 'great director' one day, adding: "Her acting is as honest as our faith and as complicated as chemistry.
"She’s not deceiving us she is practicing magic."
Taylor added of her Paulson's 'secret skill as an actor is her own humanity', that - on a personal level - she's 'deeply understanding, loving and loyal person who is safety itself'.
She also referenced the Florida star's 'many deep, long friendships, and her love for her extended family', telling attendees: "Truth to tell, it is these relationships where Sarah is most complex, dedicated and giving.
"Sometimes it’s hard to believe she’s an actress. She breaks the mould, throws assumptions out the window, does it her way. She will always surprise us. Hollywood does well to honour her.
"And just in case she doesn’t know it, she has a permanent shining star on my street. I love you, darling."
In her own speech, Paulson gushed: "To the three perfect people who spoke today — Amanda [Peet], my bird, my best friend of over 25 years; Holland, my love and greatest champion; and Ryan [Murphy], the man who changed my life — I will be forever indebted to all of you for taking the time to be here today and most significantly, for being in my life so robustly, for always telling me the truth and loving me when it's not always easy to do."
