A comedian has been slammed for her 'outright vile' joke about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Hannah Berner recently starred in a new Netflix comedy special titled Torching 2024: A Roast of the Year, which was released to the streamer last Friday (27 December).
Now, during the segment, Berner made fun of Swift and Kelce's relationship while making a reference to Luigi Mangione - the 26-year-old who was charged last month with the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Berner began by calling Mangione 'so hot right now', before adding: "Who knew besides Travis Kelce that you could become so popular with women by shooting loads into a billionaire?"
Naturally, Swifties have rounded up in full force to defend the 'Cruel Summer' singer from the 'extremely sexist and degrading' joke after the clip began circulating on social media.

One X user hit out: "Reducing Taylor to her past relationships is wrong, but doing it in a way that objectifies her is outright vile."

"I really liked her, but this is just disappointing and not funny at all," hit out a second, while a third chimed in: "Travis Kelce just keeps on picking up stray bullets at this point."
A fourth piped up: "Oof that is such a bad taste joke."

"That really crossed a line," declared a fifth while a sixth echoed: "That joke was extremely sexist and degrading to Taylor."
And a final X user added: "The audience didn’t seem to laugh much reacted more with a shocked emotion lol."
Others, however, were far less offended with one Berner fan writing: "It’s a roast. What did you expect? G-rated feel good comedy?
"Inappropriate was the goal y’all I think this was a compliment."

And a third penned: "Yh kind of inappropriate but it was also kinda funny."

Berner has also since come under fire after making a pretty controversial Blake Lively joke amidst her sexual harrassment lawsuit.
While on stage, Berner could be seen telling the crowd as part of her stand-up routine: "The word c*nt was trending this year."

"I don't think Blake Lively was that bad," she then joked while the crowd erupted into a chorus of laughter.
The same day the Netflix special came out, Berner came forward to address the remark given its ill-timing.
Taking to Instagram, she said: "My joke in the Netflix special was filmed before news of the lawsuit. To be 100 percent clear, I support Blake xoxo."
