Hailey Bieber fans still in disbelief after Shawn Mendes photos resurface
Fans had forgotten that Hailey Bieber had dated Shawn Mendes and have been examining the whirlwind romance
Fans are so used to seeing Hailey Bieber all loved up with Justin, and people have just remembered that she was dating someone else not long before getting married.
Photos of Hailey with an ex have reappeared, and fans are just now realising what a whirlwind time it was.

As pics of the couple resurface, fans have been sharing their thoughts.

"The way they showed up to the met gala together and then like 3 months later she was married to Justin Bieber still makes my head spin," wrote one fan.
"Wasn’t Justin dating Selena a whole 6 months before he married Hailey as well ? Such a crazy love triangle!" asked another.
Fans have been playing the part of a detective by trying to work out the timeline of all of the relationships between Hailey, Justin, Shawn and also Selena Gomez as it seems like everybody was moving fast.
One fan sat down to try and calculate it, saying that Justin and Selena first got back together in October 2017, and later attended his dad's wedding the following February.
Shawn and Hailey were first seen together at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights in October 2017, and then at her Halloween party which she hosted with Kendall Jenner.
Things ramped up when they were photographed attending the Met Gala together in May 2018, with many fans believing she attended with him in an attempt to make Justin jealous.
It seems like it worked, as a surprise 3 months later Justin and Hailey were engaged, and she deleted all photos with Shawn from her socials.
Shawn told Rolling Stone after their split: "I don't even wanna put a title on it," he said of Hailey. "I think it was more of a zone of limbo. She's still one of the f****ng coolest people ever — she's not just a beautiful person visually, but she's one of the most beautiful hearts I've ever met. I think I'm an idiot to not, you know …. But you can't control your heart."
Many of Hailey's supporters think Justin's friends influenced him and "pushed" him to marry Hailey.
Another fan believes Selena wrote a song called Rare about Justin.
They wrote: "It’s alleged (practically confirmed) that the song is about someone (aka your ex) constantly calling you after realising they made a mistake (aka him proposing). Apparently when he proposed he called Selena several times - this tracks when you look at all the pictures of Justin crying and being miserable in his first year of being engaged."

"Damn I thought she had been with Bieber for awhile, timeline is blurrier than I thought!" exclaimed another.
"She looks much happier with Shawn," says one Hailey fan.
It goes back even further though, with Hailey tweeting about Shawn Mendes all the back in 2013, writing: "Hey Shawn Mendes, lets date so you can sing to me all day. I'm joking but not really."
It all worked out well in the end for Hailey and Justin.
