The Fury family's ‘rift’ has found its way back into the spotlight after 16-year-old Venezuela’s elaborate wedding ceremony over the weekend.
For those who somehow missed it, the eldest daughter of Tyson, 37, and Paris, 36, tied the knot with her now-husband, 19-year-old amateur boxer Noah Price.
The lavish day, which took place on Saturday (16 May) on the Isle of Man, saw the teen be walked down the aisle by her famous father, followed by a performance from Peter Andre, a 12ft wedding cake, and even a first dance to Sean Paul’s ‘Pepperpot’.
But one person was noticeably absent - Venezuela’s grandad and Tyson’s dad, John Fury, 60.

He’s yet to reveal the reason behind his absence, but has since reportedly broken his silence on missing the wedding in the comments of an Instagram post about his whereabouts.
As reported by goss.ie, he bluntly wrote: “It was for the best.”

John hasn’t divulged the reason for missing the nuptials, but has previously expressed concern over Venezuela’s age.
Speaking the family’s Netflix show, At Home With The Furys, John previously said: “They’re children! I don’t think she’s mature enough for anything like - she’s still a baby.
“On my watch, a 15-year-old should never have a boyfriend, never.”
He’s also had a somewhat rocky relationship with his son, Tyson, since the father-of-seven announced he was coming out of retirement and returning to boxing.
What is the Fury family ‘rift’?

After Tyson revealed he’d be taking part in a comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov, which happened last month, John said that their relationship was ‘destroyed’.
During an interview with Playbook Boxing, he decalrd: "I think he's past his best. I'm a no-filter kind of guy - I say it how I see it. I love him, but there are too many people patting him on the back and telling him things that aren't true, building him up like he's invincible. He's not, and he hasn't been for a while.
"Tyson has been gone since the Deontay Wilder fights, they finished him. Wilder completely done him. He's not got a leg underneath him. He's took a lot away from Tyson. Makhmudov is a problem for Tyson. I am the first one to say it."
He continued: "My relationship with Tyson is destroyed. Boxing destroyed it completely. I'll say it on camera: I've never taken £10 off him in my life, and I never will.
"I don't want Tyson's money, and I don't need Tyson's money. Whatever he's got, good luck to him. But, don't forget who built his story when he was a kid. He didn't build it himself, did he? Me, his father."
Meanwhile, commenting on the rift himself, Tyson told The Ring Magazine that his dad 'just wants the best' for him.
He said: "He wants me to retire and walk away but if it was that easy I would have walked away five times before but I don’t have that ability to let go. It can affect a lot of stuff including families.”
"My dad saying he’s not speaking to me, I suppose he’s trying to encourage me to not fight anymore. But fighting’s all I’ve ever known and all I ever will know."
Paris Fury breaks her silence on the feud

Tyson’s wife, Paris, spoke out about the drama during her appearance on Jamie Laing's Good Company podcast last month on 22 April.
She revealed that the father-son duo have ‘been on and off for years’ and they ‘always go through this’.
Paris explained, “You know you’ve got two very headstrong people.
“One is probably more headstrong than the other. Everyone’s saying it is a social media stunt, and it’s not."
“It’s a family rift that’s going on at the moment, and I hope they resolve it because I think there’s nothing more important than your family.”
She added: “I know they love each other deeply, deep down, and for whatever reason, whether it be pride, or whatever - they have an issue, his dad has an issue. And I hope they can resolve it.”
The mother-of-seven elaborated: “We come from really family-minded… it’s come at a bad time all this information that’s come out.
“Tyson knew his dad had certain feelings to people in the camp and he, he’s always said I am my own man, and I’ll do things my own way, and he has always done that.
“And that this is where he’s got for it, so he looks at it like, I’ve done my own choices all my life."
She summarised: “His dad’s had opinions on different things he shouldn’t have done in the past, and he’s done, and it’s went unbelievably well.
“He said, don’t fight Deontay Wilder. It’s the best trilogy in boxing history."
