While people are well in the know of Elon Musk's multiple titles - Tesla CEO, SpaceX CEO, Twitter chairman, and senior advisor to United States president Donald Trump -, arguably far less know about the ins and outs of his family life.
The 53-year-old South African billionaire has had 12 confirmed children with three different women and is reported to have also had a 13th child with a fourth woman, however, this has not yet been officially confirmed by Musk himself.
So, who are these children and the four women he shares them with?
Musk and Canadian author Wilson, 52, were married for eight years between 2000 to 2008.

Together, they share 20-year-old twins Griffin and Vivian through IVF in 2004 as well as triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, 19, in 2006, also through IVF.
The pair welcomed their first baby, Nevada Alexander in 2002, however, at just 10 weeks old, he passed away from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
"I buried my feelings ... coping with Nevada's death by making my first visit to an IVF clinic less than two months later. Elon and I planned to get pregnant again as swiftly as possible. Within the next five years, I gave birth to twins, then triplets," Wilson shared in an essay published by Marie Claire back in 2010.
The tech mogul went on to have three children with his ex-girlfriend, Grimes, who he dated on-and-off between 2018 before parting ways for good in 2022.
In 2020, the former couple welcomed their first child together, four-year-old son X Æ A-Xii.
The following year in 2021, Musk and Grimes - whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher - welcomed daughter Exa Dark Sideræl via surrogate, who is now three.
And their final child together, their youngest, who is reportedly two years old Techno Mechanicus, was welcomed to the world via surrogate ,but neither Musk nor Grimes has confirmed the birth date.
One of the latest updates between Musk and Grimes - who sued each other over parental rights in 2023 amidst a custody battle which has since reportedly been resolved, according to Business Insider - saw the 'Vanessa' singer taking to social media to call out her ex after he took their eldest son, 'Little X', to the Oval Office for a press conference with Trump earlier this month (11 February).
"He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh," she wrote.
Musk has also had three children with his Neuralink executive, Shivon Zilis.
Their first children together was a set of twins, son Strider and daughter Azure, who were born in 2021 - just a matter of weeks before before he and Grimes welcomed Exa Dark Sideræl via a surrogate.
Then, in early 2024, Musk and Zilis welcomed their third child together whose name hasn't yet been made public.
Responding to the family drama with Grimes, Zilis wrote on X: "At the end of the day it all ended up for the best! Thank you for taking the time to really connect and understand each other.
"So glad we had such a wonderful talk, was insanely overdue. You’re a total badass and I respect you very much as well. I can’t wait for kiddo play date and congrats on baby Tau as well!"
Musk reportedly has a child with author Ashley St Clair, however, this has yet to be confirmed.
Earlier this month on X (14 February), she wrote: "Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child's privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause."
Brian Glicklich, a representative for St Clair, also shared a statement to X claiming: "Ashley & Elon have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time.
"We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation."
