Christina Applegate has shared a new video after spending almost four months in hospital.
The 54-year-old Dead to Me actress is now seemingly back at home amid her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis.
She was diagnosed with MS, a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, in June 2021 and shared the health news publicly on social media in August 2021.
It’s a long-term, autoimmune neurological condition that cannot currently be cured, but treatment can help manage it.

Applegate has been candid about her MS journey, but it’s unknown whether her reported hospital admission in March was related to this or something else.
After TMZ reported that she was admitted for unspecified reasons, Applegate’s rep previously told Tyla: “I have no comment on whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are. She's had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast.”
On Monday (21 September), she posted a video showing off her new hair colour, alongside the caption: “Fresh hair color, new weird spot on my cheek haha thank you @davestanwell for brightening up my cloudy day. Love you and love to you all out there.” She also shared a new selfie to her Instagram Story.
It comes a week after the actress posted a snap of a ‘Yay, you’re home’ banner that her 16-year-old daughter Sadie Grace welcomed her back with.
On 21 March, Applegate’s MeSsy podcast co-host, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, told listeners that the show would be going on a brief break while the duo were on book tours.
Then, on 20 April, Applegate spoke out to comment on the hospitalisation reports and explain that ‘health issues are a constant’.
She wrote on social media: "Thank you for the outpouring of love and well-wishes. Health issues are a constant for me, but I’m a strong chick, and I’m getting stronger and better every day."
Fans have rushed to the comments of Applegate’s latest post to wish her well, with one writing: “Sending you so much love. Thank you for being so open about all of this. Keep going, you inspire more people than you know.”

A second penned: “You look great. I have so much admiration for you, even before I read (listened) to your book. You are very brave, and if it means anything, I know there are tons of us out here who feel the same way. You love big.”
And a third gushed: “Looking good babe! Praying for more healing and strength for you!!! Sending love!”
In February, Applegate admitted that even simple tasks can be difficult due to her diagnosis, and revealed that heartbreakingly, she spends a good portion of the day on or in her bed because it’s too painful to move around.
Touching on driving her teen to school, she told PEOPLE Magazine: “I want to take her; it’s my favorite thing to do. It’s the only time we have together by ourselves.
“I tell myself, ‘Just get her there safely and get home so you can get back into bed.’ And that’s what I do.”
She added: “My life isn’t wrapped up with a bow. People’s lives, sorry for lack of a better term, f***ing suck sometimes. So I’m being as honest and raw as I possibly can.”
Tyla has contacted a representative for Applegate for comment.
