With the abuse trial against ex-partner Sean 'Diddy' Combs now far behind her, Cassie Ventura has started a new life outside the US.
News of her move overseas emerged as part of separate legal goings on, however, which saw former sex worker Clayton Howard file a 2025 lawsuit that references Ventura and Combs' previous 'Freak Offs'.
Ventura revealed as part of the ongoing proceedings - in which Howard claims he previously engaged in arranged sexual intercourse with Ventura at Combs' behest - that she no longer lives in America.
The 39-year-old requested that Howard's lawsuit be dismissed or the venue changed in a legal document filed last month (obtained by E! News this week), claiming she's not a 'resident of the State of California'.

Ventura continued: "I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States."
With this in mind, the 'Me & U' singer went on to request: "If this case were to proceed, it would be significantly more convenient for purposes of participation in the case to travel to New York, where my lawyers are, than to California, where no parties to this action reside."
Elsewhere in her plea to have Howard's suit thrown out, Ventura claimed he'd sent her husband, Alex Fine, a supportive message in 2023 after she first made allegations of abuse against Combs, whom she'd been romantically involved with between 2007 and 2018.
Howard's alleged message to Fine reads: "I know your wife's truth is 100% valid as I'm sure you did as well. I would have come forward, and I'm glad she got some form of Justice! Please tell her Clayton says he’s happy she made it out."

The document filed by Ventura in May also slams Howard's lawsuit - in which he cited 'sexual exploitation, trafficking, and abuse' for 10 years at the hands of the ex-couple - as 'baseless'.
Her latest legal battles come a year after she was forced to testify against Combs, 56, in a federal court case last spring.
During the proceedings, Ventura was asked to recall her involvement in 'Freak Offs' arranged by the disgraced music producer, which she claimed he would coerce her into.
The mother-of-three also reflected on being physically assaulted by Combs in a hotel hallway in 2016.
Following the trial, the rapper was sentenced to 50 months behind bars on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution while simultaneously being acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering.

A statement subsequently issued by her attorneys, Douglas Wigdor and Meredith Firetog, read: "While nothing can undo the trauma caused by Combs. The sentence imposed today recognises the impact of the serious offences he committed."
"We are confident that with the support of her family and friends."
The team added: "Ms Ventura will continue healing, knowing that her bravery and fortitude have been an inspiration to so many."
