Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton says she still stays in touch with ex-husband Preston

While celebrity break-ups are nothing new - it is comforting to know that some famous faces have managed to stay in each other's good books even after parting ways.

And that's exactly the case for Celebrity Big Brother winner, Chantelle Houghton, who opened up about her relationship with ex-husband, Samuel Preston.

Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Josie Gibson on This Morning today (4 October), the 40-year-old revealed she still stays in touch with the 41-year-old Ordinary Boys singer and even kept her wedding dress from the day they tied the knot. Have a look:

The pair first met on the Channel 4 reality show back in 2006 and went on to get engaged in April of that year and said 'I do' just four months later.

However, the marriage came to an end in November of 2007, with a joint statement from the former couple reading: "After much soul-searching and tearful discussions we have sadly decided to end our marriage.

"We hope we can always remain friends and still love each other but we both think we put so much pressure on one another to make our marriage work that it has ended up destroying our relationship. No one else is involved in our decision."

It would appear that the two have since been able to stay on good terms following their split, with Chantelle explaining on the ITV daytime show: "I love looking back and I do enjoy seeing clips and stuff, obviously for our children [...] it is nice looking back and also the confidence that I had back then - do you know what I mean?

"It's nice to look back."

Josie then asked: "You did meet your husband Preston in there. How long were you and Preston together for, Chantelle, or how long were you married for?"

"I think it was around 18 months," the reality TV star replied. "But you know what? We're still really good friends."

She then told viewers: "We're still in contact and, you know, we still text each other and say like, 'Do you remember this funny moment' and that."

Chantelle went on to reveal: "I've just recently moved house and I got my wedding dress down, I still got my wedding dress.

"We do still keep in contact and I've got so much love for him."

Holly then said: "Well, he's part of your story, isn't he?"

"He is! Huge!" Chantelle agreed.
