Ashley Cain has just welcomed his second child and has shared a touching tribute to his followers on Instagram.

The 33-year-old reality TV star took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of his newborn son alongside a touching caption where he revealed the baby's name.

Ashley, 33, first became a father to little Azaylia – his daughter from a previous relationship with ex-girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee – back in August 2020.

However, tragedy struck just eight weeks later when she was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer, later passing away at eight months.

The former footballer later announced the happy, albeit perhaps bittersweet, news that he and his current partner were expecting.

Previously speaking to The Sun, he said that ex Safiyya found the news understandably ‘painful’, but that she ultimately had nothing but ‘respect’ for him.

“It was painful for Safiyya, but it was also painful for me as well to talk to her,” he said.

“We haven’t been together for a while now and it is inevitable that at some stage people are going to move on with their lives - that doesn’t mean that we can’t be friends and have an amazing relationship.

He took to Instagram today (18 January) to share a touching tribute to the adorable newborn.

“I know Safiyya will always support me and I will always be there to support Safiyya. It wasn’t an easy conversation or filled with smiles but it was a conversation that had a lot of truth and respect.”

But there was someone else he knew he had to tell first.

“The first thing that I did was go down to Azaylia’s resting place to talk to her about it,” Ashley recalled to The Sun.

“I believe that was a huge part that has allowed me to feel positive about it. I feel like she was the main person that I needed to speak to and to get this thing off my chest.

“After going to her resting place and speaking to her about it, I just had a feeling in my heart and in my soul that she was happy for me.

“She was happy that she had a little brother and it is now just someone else for her to watch over and protect in this world.”

Speaking of his absolutely adorable newborn baby boy that is his first child with his unnamed current partner, Ashley revealed the tot would be sharing a middle name with his late older sister, Azaylia.

"Aliyas Diamond Cain - 16.01.24, 4:32am, 9lbs 3oz. I will love you, appreciate you, guide you and protect you with all of my heart, for the rest of my life & you will have the most beautiful guardian angel heaven holds watching over you and protecting you too," he wrote.

"Welcome to the world my son. May your body be strong, your mind be wise, your heart be loving and your spirit be pure and truly powerful."
