Ariana Grande has set the record straight once and for all on her botox use after one joke of hers left people seriously confused.

Over the years, the 31-year-old Wicked actor has faced an avalanche of speculation surrounding which beauty procedures she has or hasn't had done over the years - something Grande is well aware of.

Deciding to have a little fun with the rumour mill, the A-lister made a pretty iconic joke during a recent awards ceremony which clearly went down a treat with her fans.

Grande spoke to Entertainment Tonight in a clip posted earlier this week where the interviewer joked: "I must be a rising star too because of Botox!"

"Oh my gosh, my joke, my bit," Grande laughed, referencing her hilarious acceptance speech at the 36th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards where she took home the Rising Star award on Friday (3 January).

During the ceremony, Grande quipped: "I never thought at the age of 31 I would be hearing the words rising star again. So I want to start by thanking my good friends, botox and Juvederm."

For those that aren't in the know, Juvederm is a brand of injectable dermal fillers that use hyaluronic acid to add volume and restore skin structure.

In the ET interview, the 'Side to Side' singer went on to assure fans: "I'm still clean. I'm still clean, but when I start going again, I'll let you know - I mean it."

"I really want to be transparent as a beauty founder," Grande continued, pointing to R.E.M Beauty business which she founded a few years back in 2021.

"I think it's important of transparency, but I love it and I support it, but I am still four years clean."

And it would appear as if Grande will stay off the 'tox for the time being as she pointed to her fine lines, saying: "You see the lines? I love them!"

Now, while some were initially confused by Grande's botox joke at the awards ceremony, it seems her clarification has cleared things right up as fans have since rushed to share their reactions to her admission.

One TikTok user wrote: "Stop she’s so naturally funny."

"'I'M STILL CLEAN IM STILL CLEAN!' I freaking adore her," gushed a second, while a third chirped: "I love Ariana Grande I can't even she’s hilarious."

A fourth beamed: "I love that she has reached the 'I'm in my 30s and dgaf anymore' era, cus yasss gurl!"

"Our little comedian," praised another, while a final fan echoed: "Her comedic timing is incredible."
