It's clear for anyone to see that the duo have quite a deep bond and they're rarely seen not glued to each other's side during public appearances, both this Wicked press tour and the previous one.

We've all seen that viral 'holding space' moment that went on to become a meme, where Ariana held Cynthia's finger.
Women are so often pitted against each other so some fans have been loving how much this has gone the other way, but now, as more and more clips of the two are going viral online, their relationship has been put under a microscope online leaving some people confused.

One of the main things that people seem to have questions about why the two touch each other so much, often holding hands on red carpets and during interviews.
And now, Ariana has actually spoken out about it herself.
Talking to Amy Poehler on her Good Hang podcast this week, Ariana opened up on exactly why she and Cynthia touch so often during their press tours.
