Angelina Jolie once shared a touching admission about her daughter Shiloh that fans really weren’t expecting.
Opening up about the career plans of her 19-year-old, who is just one of the now-divorced couple Jolie and Brad Pitt's six children - Maddox, 23, Zahara, 20, Pax, 21, Knox, 16, and Vivienne, 16 - the Tomb Raider star revealed to Jimmy Fallon that her daughter is keen not to follow in her parents' footsteps.
In an episode of the popular talk show, which aired last year (5 December), Jolie was asked whether she could see any of her children living a life in the spotlight.
"My kids - I think some of them off-camera, like behind the scenes," she began.

The mother-of-six went on to share: "But they really, really want to be - especially Shiloh - would really like to be private. Just private, like, not photographed, not on the thing."
"Her, most of all, would like privacy."
Then, after presenter Jimmy pointed out, 'It must get tricky, with everyone being so famous', Jolie laughed before responding, 'But it wasn't their choice.'

She went on to tell him: "So, some people are more comfortable with the public, some people are most comfortable on talk shows, and some people are not."
This is far from the only time the Girl, Interrupted A-lister has emphasised her kids' disinterest in being in the spotlight.
Speaking on Good Morning America last November, Jolie explained motherhood was her 'happiness', adding: "You can take everything else away from me. Nothing else matters."
The star added: "None of my children want to be in front of the camera at this time.

"They're quite private. Shiloh's extremely private. They weren't born with privacy, right? So I hope they can have that as they grow."

And, when asked what does interest her kids, Jolie explained: "Some of them dance, some of them paint, some of them love theatre, but none of them are dying to be on screen."
Angelina previously spoke to E! News about her children, noting they were 'especially shy' and 'very private people'.

She told the outlet. "They want to be private."
However, Jolie revealed that her children do have an interest in working on films, even if they don’t want to star in them.
Her two oldest children, Maddox and Pax, worked on the 2024 musical-drama Maria by assisting director Pablo Larrain.
"Mad and Pax were on this one doing AD [assistant directing] work," the Salt star told The Hollywood Reporter last August.

"They’ve done that quite a few times, and I think that’s good for them. Pax tends to do stills and he gets brought in, and Pablo was wonderful and recognised that he was good at it."

Having her sons on set with her meant 'a lot' to her, as the actor added: "I have never had a set where my family is not allowed to be there because I’m focusing—I’m not that person."
She continued: "You can climb all over me or visit. It really meant a lot that my boys were with me on Maria. When I would have really heavy times, they would come over and just give me a hug or a cup of tea.
"That was probably one of the more intense things was that—usually when I’m expressing that much pain, it’s not in front of my children.
"You really try to hide from your children how much pain and sadness you carry.
"And so for them to be with you when you’re expressing it at such a level, I think it was the first time they ever heard me cry like that. That’s usually for the shower."
