Amy Schumer reveals what her response is when people mistake her for another major celebrity
The comedian opened up about her famous doppelgangers
Amy Schumer has revealed that there are two superstar celebrities that she often gets mistaken for and how she reacts to misinformed fans.
It’s no shock that a lot of people on Earth look similar to at least one other person, celebrity or not.
There’s actually a wide range of celebs who look alike, and they too constantly get mistaken for one another when out and about. However, Schumer’s face is pretty recognisable, as well as her voice and personality.

So, it would be hard to find another people to match that, especially two people.
Well, according to the comedian, she’s often mistaken for celebrities who are both funny, and known for their eccentric character choices.
While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week, Schumer revealed that her doppelgängers are Bridesmaids actresses Rebel Wilson and Melissa McCarthy.
She said to Jimmy, that how she reacts may not be what you’d expect from her. Have a listen:
She shared: "People come up to me and even though … 100% of the time they are sure that I'm Melissa McCarthy Wilson, or Rebel Wilson … I don't correct them I just go, 'Yeah, Bridesmaids totally changed my life'."
The reason she’s so chilled out about it?
Schumer said it’s because: "I should be so lucky, those are beautiful women."
Oh, how right she is about that.
But what’s even funnier in this situation is that McCarthy previously said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she was once mistaken for Schumer.
It was a hidden-camera stunt for the show which saw a person mistake her for the Kinda Pregnant actress.
When McCarthy pretended to faint for the stunt, she said: "What I heard right before [they called] 911 was: 'Amy Schumer's gone down! Amy Schumer's on the ground!'
"And I was like, 'Hey!' She called me Amy Schumer — which to me was my favourite part, what a compliment — but she called me Amy Schumer four or five times.”
During her talk with Fallon, Schumer wasn’t holding back when it came to telling funny things that happen to her in real life.
In fact, she dished the gossip on Bradley Cooper and his age faux pas when they were talking about his 50th birthday.
She revealed: "Bradley Cooper I ran into this week… and he said, 'You know I turned 50 this year'. And he goes, 'You 50?'."
She then explained how she attempted to 'recover' from his comment, and even tried to play it off a bit and make it easier for Cooper considering she is seven years his junior.
Schumer said: "Because whatever I’m 43 but, you know, I will be 50 but… I'm not 50 yet. I was just like, 'um, yeah no I’m not Bradley, you know, I’m not. But thank you for thinking of me'."
Well, she did have a massive crush on him at one point so hopefully there were no hard feelings after his age blunder.
