Amy Schumer opened up about something Bradley Cooper once said to her, and…ouch.

Schumer has had an interesting year, to say the least.

Not only has she come back to Hollywood with a bang after taking time off in 2018 until 2021, but she’s killing it with her non-stop gigs.

Her latest film, IF, starring Ryan Reynolds and The Walking Dead’s Cailey Fleming, sees her play Gummy Bear, and we’re so ready for a light-hearted kid’s film to see how she shows off her acting chops in this partially animated flick.

Not only has she been working non-stop, but the comedian has also been embroiled in her own health battle journey, which was offset buy social media ‘trolls’, who referred to her as ‘moon face’.

However, this would lead to her seeking advice, and ultimately being diagnosed with Cushing Disease, a condition which can be caused by steroid injection use.

The actress has candidly spoken about her health, and has always been open about the good, the bad, and the ugly in her life.

So, when she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week, she didn’t hold back.

But this time, it was about Cooper.

The 43-year-old explained what happened when she ran into the actor, who is 50.

According to her, he said two words to her which took her back with shock, and I think we can all agree that if someone was to say it to us, we’d have the same reaction too.

She shared to host Jimmy Fallon: “I saw him, and you know, ‘How are you?,’ and he said, ‘You know, I turned 50 this year’ and he goes, ‘You 50?’.”

Schumer added: “I tried to recover — you know, I’m 43 — so I’m like, ‘I will be 50! But I’m not 50 yet! Yeah no, I’m not, Bradley, but thank you for thinking of me!’”

She then went on a tirade about the things people do in order to ‘be hot’, such as exercise.

The comedian said: “Look, we all want to be hot. People go through a lot to be hot. This is how bad people want to be hot: People literally run!”

Then, she did a little bit of physical comedy, getting up and pretending to run while saying: “Somebody have sex with me!” Schumer joked: “They’re riding a bike to nowhere to the ‘Wicked’ soundtrack. It’s pathetic!”

Anyway, aside from that, did you know that Schumer had a huge crush on Cooper at one point?

In 2015, she again spilled all to Fallon and said that the actor is ‘the kind of hot, trust me, when he is in front of you, you just grab your ankles’.

She explained: “You would just say things you didn’t mean, like, ‘Any hole’s fine.’”

At one point, she even thought they were dating, after having a 30-minute conversation, which led her to change her Facebook status from ‘It’s complicated’ to ‘I’m engaged to Bradley Cooper’.

“I always harass him,” she said at the time. “I feel very uncomfortable talking to somebody that handsome. He’s very charismatic and stares into your eyes and asks you questions, which no man does.”

Well, now she’s married and has a child, and Cooper is with Gigi Hadid, so it all worked out in the end for the two professionals.
