Celebrities can be under a lot of pressure to stay relevant so that their audience doesn’t forget who they are, but sometimes this can lead to tragedy.

Sometimes, celebs who are particularly hounded by paparazzi and tabloids, it can become evident that they are in need of a break from fame.

Such as the case of former child-star, Amanda Bynes, who was loved by millions of fans across the world for her portrayal of incredible characters such as Viola in She’s The Man.

However, it become apparent in 2013 that the star needed immediate help.

During a public breakdown, the actress was placed on a psychiatric hold and has struggled ever since to regain her health.

But it seemed as though she was coming back to the limelight and building her career when she announced her new podcast Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast would be dropping on December 9.

Though, she decided to give up her podcast after just one episode so that she can become a manicurist.

The 37-year-old took to her Instagram Stories admitting to ending the podcast so that she ‘can find more consistent work’.

She said: “I was actually surprised and of course was going to keep going after friends encouraged me to.

“After thinking about it, though, I would rather get my manicurist license and have a consistent job. I'm going to follow that path instead.”

But this path isn’t entirely surprising as in 2020, she planned to start a perfume line, has studied at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and in 2022, she told her followers that she was 'in cosmetology college to become a manicurist'.

However, her departure of her short-lived podcast has left some wondering whether it was due to her not racking in the A-listers.

This comes after the star released a short clip to her Instagram Stories telling fans that the podcast was paused due to not bringing in guests like 'Drake or Post Malone.'

She said: “So maybe one day if we're able to get those type of guests on the show, we will resume the podcast. But for now, I'm taking a pause on it.”

Obviously, the pause only lasted one day before she was back and planning to film another episode, but almost immediately flip-flopped around again and cancelled it for good.

Amanda has had a history of struggling with media attention and public comments, and she had been gaining a lot of remarks about looking different since creating her podcast.

But she quickly addressed her changing face, stating that she had undergone bleph surgery, which was 'one of the greatest things she ever did' for her self-confidence.

Hopefully, her new venture is something that brings her in consistent work and makes her happy.
