First we hear You is getting a second season, then we hear it is landing on Boxing Day ready for a festive binge, and now a preview has dropped.

We've been waiting patiently for Season 2 of You to land for what seems like an age, and now with a Netflix landing date and an intro clip of the new characters, it's creeping ever closer.

The You Twitter account dropped the clip no doubt to heighten our anticipation and it certainly did the job.

The clip goes onto show us all the key new faces joining the cast. It starts with Victoria Pedretti (The Haunting of Hill House) who is set to play Love Quinn - a potential love interest for Joe and her brother Forty Quinn, played by James Scully.

We also see a glimpse of Candace in the clip, Joe's girlfriend before Guinivere Beck, much talked about in Season 1, but we only caught a quick glimpse of her when she showed up in the season finale.

She will be played by Ambyr Childs - but is she back to expose Joe for what he truly is, and does she actually know what he's capable of?

You Season 2 lands on Netflix on 26th December. (

Joining them is Jenna Ortega who will play Ellie Alves, a con artist and Carmela Zumbado as Delilah Alves, an investigative reporter.

We're expecting big things after the first season was such a huge hit. In fact, it received a 93 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 78 per cent average audience score. That's pretty good going.

And although we know so far that You will be set in Los Angeles instead of New York City, we have so many other questions.

One of the key new characters is Victoria Pedretti playing Love Quinn. (

Will Joe reform his character (we doubt it as that surely won't make for good TV). Is Guinivere Beck really dead? Will anyone discover Joe's crimes?

Hopefully they will all soon be answered.

Netflix says of the upcoming season: "When we last saw Joe his heart was tragically broken and his past just caught up with him in the form of long-lost ex-girlfriend Candace - a woman now hell-bent on teaching him a lesson.

"Season 2 finds him on the run from Candace - leaving New York City for his own personal hell: Los Angeles."

James Scully will play Love's brother Forty Quinn. (

"He's fresh out of an intense relationship that ended in murder. The last thing he expects is to meet an incredible new woman but he's falling in love again - with a woman named Love (Victoria Pedretti).

"Is history repeating? Or will this time be the real thing? Joe's just crazy enough to risk finding out.

"We fear for new character Love Quinn, an aspiring chef, already. We all know what happens when Joe falls in love..."
