Kitty girls, guess what? There's a brand new RuPaul's Drag Race spin off dropping this week and it's got a celebrity twist.

Taking to Twitter, RuPaul dropped the major news, revealing RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race is on the way in a matter of days.

Kicking off on Friday 24th April, the new spin-off will run for four episodes, with each instalment focusing on three different celebrities.

Each famous face will have a drag makeover, created by former contestants including Miss Vanjie, Trinity the Tuck, Trixie Mattel, Monét X Change, Alyssa Edwards, Bob the Drag Queen and Kim Chi.

The celebrities - who are yet to be announced - will compete for the title and cash prize which will then be donated to a chosen charity.

A trailer clip for the new spin off calls it "the most star studded competition in herstory" and promises to be "full of transformations so gag worthy you'll need to see it to believe it".

Each episode will feature celebrities from film, music, television and comedy and with past celebrity guest judges including the likes of Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga, we're expecting some pretty exciting names.

The A-list line up is being kept tightly under wraps. In fact, viewers won't know who's taking part until each episode.

But it hasn't stopped rumours from circulating, with speculation over big names including Harry Styles and comedian Margaret Cho.

"RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race is a blast," Ru said in a statement.

"We put these celebrities through it! Because no matter how famous your charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent is, you still put your pantyhose on one leg at a time."

The four-part spin off will air every Friday at 9:30pm on VH1, starting this week on 24th April.

It's currently unknown when the series will arrive in the UK, but we've reached out to producers for more information. More as it comes...
