Yesterday, Netflix treated Tiger King fans to a bonus episode of the mega popular documentary series.

Tiger King and I is a special, 'after show style' instalment hosted by actor and presenter Joel McHale and featuring interviews with several of the people involved in the show - including Joe Exotic's former husband, John Finlay.

Despite lots of entertaining revelations about what everyone has been up to since filming ended, viewers were obsessed with John in particular - specifically, how different he looked.

And what a change it was. John looks like a brand new man, with one viewer calling his makeover the "biggest glow up in history".

Tiger King fans will remember that John first joined Joe's zoo in 2003 when he was 19. He quickly became the big cat breeder's lover and the pair ended up having a polyamorous marriage with Travis Maldonado.

John's relationship with Joe broke down after he got one of the female staff members at the zoo pregnant. In fact, viewers found out that John had been sleeping with several women from the park before he eventually decided to leave.

However, in an interview since the show landed on Netflix, John dropped the bombshell that he and Joe were never legally married.

Six years on and John looks better than ever - and over on Twitter, viewers were quick to dish out the compliments.

One person tweeted: "Lemme glow up like John Finlay during this quarantine" while another wrote: "Now THAT is a GLOW UP good for you John Finlay."

"John Finlay is the glow up of 2020 already... that's it," said another.

While John has a full set of teeth now (although he has previously claimed he had these during filming, but they were not shown) he's also got a goatee beard and glasses, which really suit him.

Viewers were also impressed that John was wearing a T-shirt, having been topless throughout much of the Tiger King series.

One person tweeted: "Wow. John Finlay looks healthy AND is wearing a shirt."

In the bonus episode, John said he wasn't impressed at how he was portrayed.

He said: " I actually watched it that night, and me and my fiancΓ©e both binge-watched it in seven hours.

"I had to know what was on it, and so did she. And we had to be kind of prepared to know what was gonna go on.

"I was portrayed as a drugged-out hillbilly, and that was not me then. At that time, I was four to five years clean."

If you haven't already watched the bonus ep, it's now available to watch on Netflix. Go, go, go!
