First Look At The Umbrella Academy Season 3's Sparrow Academy As Justin H. Min Shares Clip

*Warning: The Umbrella Academy season two and three spoilers ahead*

The Umbrella Academy is all set to begin filming season 3 - and Justin H Min is wasting no time in whetting fans' appetites.

In case you need a reminder, season 2 of Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba's popular Netflix TV franchise ended up introducing us to the Sparrow Academy, when the members Umbrella Academy arrived back from the 60s and landed in the present.

While they'd saved the world from a nuclear explosion, the timeline had been changed thanks to their actions - most notably their father Reginald is still alive has adopted a completely different set of kids, and deceased Ben Hargreeves is also back from the dead, having previously only been visible to Klaus (as a ghost).

Days after the show's new cast was announced, Justin - who plays Ben on the show - shared a sneak peak of the Sparrow Academy family in their new uniforms on his social media, adding: "Let the games begin".

Each member of the Sparrow Academy was dressed in a dark blue tracksuits with a sparrow on its chest, and white racing stripes going down the arms.

"STOP I CANT HANDLE THIS," wrote on fan as soon as they saw the new family snap.

Meanwhile, another penned: "Oh my gosh, the sparrows united."

"Justin stop," wrote a third, who simply couldn't handle the excitement.

Despite Ben's return, fans can expect to see a very different person thanks to the new timeline, as spoilers suggest he's going to be cunning and hierarchy driven, seeing as he comes behind his 'brother' Marcus in Reginald's rankings.

Joining Ben in the Sparrow Academy is Marcus (Jingle Jangle's Justin Cornwell), who is the current head of the Sparrows - described as a "charming, chiselled, colossus," as well as being "honest, virtuous, and demanding."

"Marcus keeps the family together," the synopsis reads. "Graceful but lethal, calculated but compassionate, he is as smart as he is strong. Marcus is disciplined, rational and in control. He oozes confidence and leadership without ever having to raise his voice."

Elsewhere, Britne Oldford will play Fei. While she may come across as misanthropic, Fei is desperate to have company. "Most of the time, Fei is the smartest person in the room and willing to work things out," her description reads. "But if you cross her there's no looking back because Fei won't stop until the job is done."

Suits star Jake Epstein will also appear as Alphonso. Years of crime fighting have left his face and body with countless visual reminders of his battles. To compensate, Alphonso is armed with a caustic and biting sense of humour. The only thing he likes better than verbally battering anyone foolish enough to get in his face, is a good pizza and a six-pack of beer.

Meanwhile, joining the cast too is Big Hero 6's Genesis Rodriguez, who will play Sloane - a romantic and a dreamer who feels a higher cosmic calling leaving her eager to see the world and experience a life beyond her upbringing. But obligations to her family keep Sloane tethered to the Academy, as does her fear of crossing the family line. But Sloane has plans... and one day she might just be brave enough to act on them.

Lastly is Cazzie David as loner Jayme, one of the more terrifying newcomers. Jayme has a fear-inducing snarl. Catch a glimpse of it, and you'll run across the street to avoid what follows. Smart and sharp as a knife, she spends most of her time hanging with Alphonso, her only friend.

Oh, and Existential Dread Inducing Psykronium Cube (Christopher) will be joining the cohort, as well. We so hope he has a uniform!

Very much a part of the family, Christopher acts as the Sparrows' consulted oracle who hands out incredible advice and serves as the family's trustworthy and loyal mediator. His strength is "turning the room freezing cold and induce paralysing fear."

Filming for the series is set to start in February 2021, in Toronto, Canada.

As well as the newbies, returning favourites Elliott Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore join Justin and Reginald actor Colm Feore in reprising their roles.

We cannot wait for this.
