It's fair to say Liam Reardon is one of the most talked about contestants on this year's Love Island after his Casa Amor antics came back into the main villa to haunt him.

And by haunt him, we really mean Casa Amor bombshell Lillie Haynes showing up and telling Millie Court that they had shared a passionate smooch (or two) in the spin-off villa behind her back.

Fortunately for Liam, he managed to claw his way back into 24-year-old Millie's good books and they're now stronger than ever.

Despite his love life being back on track, the Welsh lad has got viewers chatting online for another reason, and that reason being his impressive collection of tattoos.

The bricklayer's inkings so far include a star on his back, bird on his arm (no pun intended), a cookie on his bum, 'don't count the days, make the days count' on his right arm and his birthday in Roman numerals across his chest.

Yet, eagle-eyed fans of the ITV2 dating series have been left wondering about the portraits that are etched on his right thigh which are of crooner Frank Sinatra and legendary boxer Muhammad Ali.

In the spirit of getting to know our Islanders that much better, we've done some digging and found out that the 21-year-old was inspired to have the iconic stars tattooed on his leg because he's a massive fan of them.

According to his tattoo artist Lucy Turner of Lucy Lou's Tattoos, Liam first ever tattoo was his tribute to Mohammed Ali, and it took an astounding 12 hours to complete.

"Liam is a big fan of Muhammad Ali and boxing in general," she told the Daily Star. "He thought he'd be the perfect start to his leg piece. It took two full day sessions which are 6 hours each.

"It was his first tattoo and he sat amazing both times. I convinced him to go quite big with the tattoo just because he's so tall. Anything smaller just wouldn't have looked right.

Interestingly, the tattoo artist revealed that Liam, who stands at 6ft 6', is planning on adding to his celebrity artwork with two very notable names.

Lucy added: "He wants to have a full leg of portraits of celebrities he considers icons. We have spoke about doing Tom Jones and maybe Aretha Franklin too. He's said that his love for older musicians comes from his father."

So Liam fans watch this space, or thigh in this case, because it sounds like another celebrity tattoo is on it's way.
