Sir Captain Tom Moore became visibly emotional during his Life Stories interview with Piers Morgan, a teaser clip has revealed.
The 100-year-old veteran spoke with the TV host and presenter about family, time in the military, and his incredible £32million fund-raising effort for the NHS during the coronavirus crisis.
Piers spoke about his experience of meeting Tom on Wednesday's episode of Good Morning Britain, sharing teaser clips from the interview, which is due to air on ITV at 8pm on Sunday.

At one point, the war veteran became tearful when talking about the moment when he moved in with daughter Hannah and her two children, following the death of his wife Pamela.
"I was very fortunate to move in with them. That was a good day when I moved in with them," he told the presenter.
"I've got four grandchildren, and what more can you wish for than that?"

At another point in the interview, Sir Captain Tom welled when listening to a clip of We'll Meet Again sung by forces' sweetheart Vera Lynn.
The Captain's hilarious rider request caused a stir, too, with Piers revealing that Sir Tom had asked for "a bottle of coke, a bar of Dairy Milk chocolate and six blondes".Advert
Talking with This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield about having the opportunity to speak with the legendary war hero, Piers said that he was "a remarkable human being."
The GMB co-presenter said: "[Tom] gave us all hope and positivity in a really dark moment for the country, and I thought, "I need to know more about him."
He went on: "It's moving. He [Tom] sheds tears in the most unexpected moment. He's incredibly open about his marriage and his life."
Sharing a snap of himself and Sir Captain Tom backstage ahead of the Life Stories interview, Piers wrote: "The great man! Backstage with Captain Sir Tom Moore before our Life Stories chat. First time we've met in person & he's even more charming in real life. Should be a brilliant interview. Airs next Sunday night on ITV."

While describing his impressions of Sir Captain Tom to Holly and Phil, the presenter said: "He's hilarious. He's sharp as a whippet. He's got that Yorkshire grit and humour. He's got a resilience about him born from his war years.
"[It was an] absolutely extraordinary two hours.
"Whatever you think you know about this guy, however you think he interacts, he talks - just be prepared to be surprised."
