If you're a Big Little Lies fan, listen up! *Another* one of Liane Moriarty's novels is being adapted for telly - and Nicole Kidman will star.

Nine Perfect Strangers is set to air in 2021 and has a seriously impressive cast. Alongside Nicole, Melissa McCarthy, Luke Evans, Asher Keddie and Bobby Cannavale will also appear.

Nicole teased fans this weekend by posting an Insta snap of her and Liane. "We can't wait to introduce you to #NinePerfectStrangers," she wrote, alongside a snap of the pair doing a socially distanced elbow bump.

So what will the series be about?

Well, the book focuses on nine city dwellers in Australia who spend 10 days together at a rural retreat run by a woman named Masha.

Despite being from different walks of life, they're all there with the same goal - the ultimate mind a body detox - but one of the guests, novelist Frances, soon learns each and every person has hidden secrets.

The New York Times bestseller is a gripping page-turner, so we've no doubt it'll translate brilliantly on screen.

Although there's no release date for the thriller, it's expected to be released first in the US in 2021, before arriving in the UK shortly afterwards.

The adaptation is also being co-written by David E. Kelley - who also worked on Big Little Lies - so we've got a feeling we're in very good hands!

Big Little Lies fans will also be excited to learn that Reese Witherspoon is working on a new adaptation, too - and this time it's for the silver screen.

The actress, 44, has turned her attention to Delia Owens' bestselling murder mystery, Where The Crawdads Sing.

The book - which is part crime thriller and part coming of age novel - has been a monumental success since its release, spending 97 weeks on The New York Times bestseller list and selling more than seven million copies worldwide.

It's currently unclear whether Reese will be starring in the movie - or if she will simply be serving as producer - but either way we're expecting big things.

These two cannot come soon enough!
