Ever since Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz, and Laura Dern captured our hearts in hit HBO show Big Little Lies, we've not wanted the series to end.
The later addition of acting legend Meryl Streep only cemented those feelings further.
But now, Nicole Kidman has hinted that it might not be the end of the Big Little Lies story *just * yet, saying in an interview with Entertainment Weekly's The Awardist that there's "hope" for a third instalment.

Nicole went on to say that she and her fellow cast members, who she called "the greatest actresses in the world" shared a "desire to all be working together again" - so, watch this space.
She said: "The thread that binds all of us through this is so strong, and the desire to all be working together again."
"We're very close as a group. If we can come up with things that might be magnificent, I would say we would all jump in," she added.

Nicole's co-star Laura Dern expressed similar feelings in an Instagram live chat with Reese, during which she said she "fantasised" about the show's return.
"I really do fantasize that we'll do it again cause I miss," she said. "Don't you miss those characters?"
"We want to do it, we're just kind of waiting," continued Laura. "We're trying to come up with the right story - and how do we end after that cliffhanger?"

When Laura says "the right story", she's referring to efforts by show writers and creators Liane Moriarty and David E. Kelley, who would need to devise a fresh new plot to bring the woman together again.
If season one and two are anything to go by, that shouldn't be too much trouble.
The series, which followed a group of wealthy young women in Monterey, California, when their lives were shattered by a murder that takes place in their idyllic town, acquired a loyal fanbase - who will no doubt be thrilled by Nicole's comments.
