Winter Love Island may only have been on screens for two episodes so far, but already fans are threatening to switch off - complaining that one annoying habit is driving them round the bend.

Yep, other than the fact that Jess and Eve Gale spend every waking second together (literally, they're indistinguishable), there's also another key reason the 20-year-olds have got people talking since entering the villa as bombshells.

Pointing out that they both seem to lick their teeth constantly in the middle of conversations, viewers of the ITV show flocked to social media to question the bizarre habit and vent their frustrations.

"Why oh why are these twins licking their teeth every second?!," one fan wrote.

While another added: "Gonna have to stop watching love island if the twins lick their teeth or play with their hair one more time".

A third chimed in: "Why do they keep licking their teeth? Do they have food stuck? Can the producers get them a toothbrush please #LoveIsland." LOL.

And it wasn't just the teeth licking that fans have noticed over the last couple of days, as many others pointed out the double act were equally obsessed with playing with their hair.

"How many times are those twins gonna play with their hair!," another asked, while a fellow Twitter user agreed, joking: "If I had £1 for every time the twins touched their hair #LoveIsland".

Their somewhat unusual habits may have rubbed people up the wrong way on the outside world, but there's no doubt they're proving to be cracking islanders.

The pair really shook up the South African villa as they broke up two couples last night, as the first recoupling ceremony took place.

While both of the girls had their eyes on Callum Jones, it was Eve that ended up stealing him from Shaughna Phillips while Jess nabbed Mike Boating from Leanne Amaning - both of whom were less than impressed.

It remains to be seen whether Eve or Jess will have any luck in their new love matches, and whether they'll ever stop licking their teeth!

But one thing's for sure, they certainly are entertaining us.
