Somebody pinch us because Love Is Blind has just been renewed for not one but *two* new seasons and it's the good news we've been craving.

Ever since the first series came to to an end earlier this month, we've been looking for something to fill the Love Is Blind-shaped hole in our lives. But alas, nothing has brought the drama quite like it.

Following the success of the first season, Netflix has now commissioned a second and third and they've already started casting - this time, in Chicago.

Yesterday, the show tweeted: "The experiment isn't over... Season 2 of Love is Blind is now casting, are you in?"

We are *so* in.

The show shot to the number one slot on Netflix shortly after it began streaming in February and If you haven't already watched it, it'll make for the perfect lockdown binge-watch.

In fact, we're actually jealous of anyone who is yet to get addicted to it.

For those who haven't experienced the show, here's a brief recap...

It all kicked off in February with a group of singles looking to get to know each other. But the twist is, they don't actually meet up until they get engaged.

Instead, they go on a series of 'dates' where they speak to each other via 'pods'. Essentially, they're separated by just a wall, only coming face-to-face for the first time after one pops the question.

Once the couples are officially engaged, they then have to plan their weddings, all the while trying to forge a physical connection.

Naturally, this is more difficult for some couples than others and all kinds of delicious drama kicks off, especially when the contestants meet each other, coming face-to-face with the men and women they turned down.

Will they all make it to the wedding day?! It's completely bonkers, but *so* good.

After the first series, viewers were shocked to find out that the filming had actually taken place 18 months ago. But, it did mean we were all treated to a reunion episode, which showed which couples are still going strong.

However, we do hope it won't be another 18 months before the next instalment - although we're pretty sure it will be worth the wait.

Fans of the show have already been taking to Twitter to gush about the news, with many saying they'd move to Chicago, just to apply.

One of the reasons why the show only casts in a specific area, is to reduce the location-related challenges for couples.

Others pointed out that living in the pods was perfect during the global pandemic.

"The pods are the perfect solution for dating during social distancing," one joked.

Most of all, Twitter was filled with excited viewers ready to find out exactly when they can be expecting the return of the show.

It literally couldn't come soon enough. In the meantime, we're considering rewatching Season 1...
