'The Cube' Is Looking For Contestants For New £1M Jackpot
Reckon you could take on The Cube for a million quid? If so, you're in luck because ITV is looking for contestants!
The brand new version of the hit show sees teams attempt what appear to be pretty simple tasks - but in the high pressure environment of the perspex cube, nothing is straightforward.
And the stakes are even higher this year, with £1 million up for grabs. And it could be yours!
ITV has confirmed casting for the new series is now underway. Producers are seeking competitive teams of two people from the same household or household support bubble to take part.
To apply, all you need to do is head over to the digital casting site - found here - where you'll be able to complete an application for the chance to join Philip Schofield and win a mil.
The channel explains: "We're looking for competitive teams of two people from the same household/household support bubble (partners, parent and child, siblings etc, or flatmates/friends) with a mix of abilities and personalities.
"Remember, there are no general knowledge questions to answer. The Cube will set you and your teammate a series of physical and mental challenges for the chance to win a huge cash prize of £1,000,000.
"Can you work together to take on the ultimate TV gameshow challenge? Can you and your teammate beat the cube?"

Filming for the show is currently scheduled to take place in London on the week commencing Monday 10th August.
If selected, your transport will be provided. ITV add that subject to the latest COVID-19 guidelines, geographical proximity to the studio in London will be taken into account, including "the feasibility and safety of contestants to make a return journey from their home to the studio in a single day including the time we require them to be in the studio".
The deadline for applications is 6pm on 26th July and ITV recommend applying ASAP if you're interested - so seriously, what are you waiting for?!
The exhilarating show sees each team given nine lives to complete seven games with each worth an increasing amount of money.
Players will have to keep a clear head to master each challenge - which at first may seem straightforward enough - to ultimately beat The Cube.
Tasks include throwing a ball into a container, balancing on a beam or stopping a clock at precisely 10 seconds.
Host Phillip Schofield said: "The Cube is such a cracking format but with the players now in teams and a whopping million-pound prize fund, it now means this high-pressure environment has just got tougher.
"I can't wait to be reunited with the legendary Perspex Cube!"
We for one can't wait to be screaming at the telly once again! Although there's no release date just yet, we're hoping it will be sometime later this year...
