Disney+ has just dropped some first look pictures for its new Christmas comedy, Godmothered, and it looks like a bundle of feel-good fun.

The movie is set to star Isla Fisher (Confessions of a Shopaholic) as 40-year-old single mum Mackenzie and Jillian Bell (Brittany Runs a Marathon) as Eleanor, a rather clumsy fairy godmother-in-training.

And it will be landing on streaming service on Friday, December 4th, just in time for Christmas movie season.

The story will follow Eleanor's quest to track down Mackenzie after finding a distressed letter she wrote when she was 10, which had previously been mislaid.

When she sees where Mackenzie is now, Eleanor is determined to magic her a "happily ever after".

But has she left it too late?

The movie is directed by Sharon Maguire (famed for having worked on Bridget Jones's Diary) and it's produced by Justin Springer (Dumbo, TRON: Legacy).

Tom Pollock (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Diane L. Sabatini (Lady and the Tramp) and Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters) were executive producers on the project, alongside Amie Karp (Ghostbusters: Afterlife).

Plus, also starring alongside Bell and Fisher are Willa Skye, Artemis Pebdani, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Santiago Cabrera, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Jane Curtin, June Squibb, Jillian Shea Spaeder and Stephnie Weir.

We first caught wind that the movie was coming back in 2019, and initially it was tipped to be a spin-off of Disney's live-action Cinderella reboot.

However, it's instead taken a rather different form, taking place in modern Christmastime, and combining magic and the real world to ensure unmissable festive feels.

Anyone else getting serious Enchanted vibes?!

If magical fairy movies aren't your thing, then don't worry, Disney+ has plenty more to offer, too.

Last month, new Pixar film Onward also dropped on the platform, and its already getting glowing reviews.

Set in a world where humans do not exist, the film focuses on two teenage elf brothers, Ian (Tom Holland) and Barley (Chris Pratt), who embark on a magical quest to bring their late dad back to life for just 24 hours.

The heartwarming movie follows their adventure, from challenges to magical discoveries, and begins on Ian's 16th birthday. Prior to their dad's death, he had arranged for the brothers to be gifted a spell that would bring him back for just a day to see them once they were both 16.

We know, *sob*.

But the spell doesn't quite go to plan and only the bottom half of their dad returns. Ian and Barley have just hours to spend some quality time with their half a dad - and it all gets a bit bonkers when they attach a makeshift torso to his legs!

Although hilarious, the movie follows how the brothers come to terms with their dad's death, and you'll be bawling your eyes out by the end.

It dropped in October, so if you don't know about it yet you'd better catch up.
