Webcam Exposes TV Reporter Who Didn’t Wear Any Trousers For Live Interview

One word: Iconic.

We're over a month into coronavirus lockdown, and now Zoom fails are becoming the norm.

There was the presenter whose naked husband appeared in shot as she was giving a hair tutorial, the girl who obliviously went to the toilet during a work conference call and a whole string more mortifying TV moments of the sort.

But the latest live blunder might just be the best of the lot. Don't take our word for it, watch it for yourself:

When ABC's Good Morning America reporter Will Reeve, 27, appeared on the show via video link, he donned a smart shirt and suit jacket, but thanks to his dodgy camera setup, it soon became apparent there wasn't much on his bottom half...

Will - who is son of Superman star Christopher Reeve - clearly hadn't expected his lower half to be visible, as he went trouser free, giving the public a full view of his bare legs and tiny black gym shorts.

But he carried on his interview, blissfully unaware of the mishap, talking about the potential of drones to help delivery pharmacy essentials.

Yikes!

"No Pants Tuesday on @GMA I assume," one viewer joked.

While another chipped in: "While reporting, maybe wear pants? Or don't. #quarantinelife #gma #willreeve #nopants".

"To the @GMA reporter who forgot to wear pants for this morning's broadcast: you are officially the most relatable person on television and my new favorite news anchor," a third penned, in solidarity.

In Will's defence, he certainly isn't the only one to forgo bottoms on a video call.

In fact, usually we'd be surprised if anyone did wear a full on suit to sit in they kitchen while working from home.

But skipping the trousers for a live TV appearance? Now, that really is brave...

The TV star later took to Twitter to comment on the mortifying faux pas, and, luckily, he managed to make a joke out of it.

'I have ARRIVED... in the most hilariously mortifying way possible," he wrote.

In a statement, he later explained: "Trying to be efficient, I got ready for a post-GMA workout a little too soon this morning. The camera angle, along with friends, family, and several hundred strangers on social media made me rethink my morning routine.

"Any sartorial tips from these people who are wearing a belt, trousers and shoes during their work video calls at home are more welcome.

"Now, back to work. Wearing pants."
