The first trailer for End Of The F*cking World's second series has arrived, and it looks absolutely epic.
Two years since it first hit screens, the dark Channel 4 comedy drama, starring Jess Barden and Alex Lawther, is making a comeback on November 4th.

And it's safe to say the trailer for the new eight part series keeps us guessing.
Following the cliff-hanger ending that saw James (Alex Lawther) and Aylssa (Jessica Barden) sprinting down the beach away from an armed SWAT team before James knocks Alyssa out with a riffle, fans have been left with so many questions.
Did James get shot by the police? Did Alyssa tell the police that James coerced her into committing all those crimes?

Unfortunately, after the trailer, we're still none the wiser.
Following a brief flashback of James on the beach, the trailer instead shows Alyssa embarking on a "fresh start".
Standing in a wedding dress, Alyssa says: "I'm 19, and I thought I'd already had the sh*ttest day of my life, but this is actually worse." But who is she marrying?!

She now works in a cafe, and is trying to live a normal life - but when she's given a bullet her name engraved in it, she realises there's still trouble ahead.
The trailer also introduces us to new cast member Tim Key as motel owner Gus and we get our first glimpse of Bonnie, played by Naomi Ackie.
If you need a recap, the first series saw James and Alyssa obliviously breaking into the house of a serial rapist, Dr. Clive Koch (Jonathan Aris).

When Koch returns home to find Alyssa asleep and appearing to be alone in his bed, he attacks her. But then James crawls out from under the bed with hunting knife he planned to use on Alyssa, and stabs him in the neck.
The pair then cover their tracks, and flea the scene, but in the process, James learns he's not the psychopath he thought he was.
The rest of the season sees the duo on the run, with James' shocking shooting rounding everything off with a healthy dose uncertainty and suspense...
While the 40 second clip might be keeping us on our toes, the show's creator hinted we would be getting the James and Alyssa storyline we wanted after all when talking about the second series ahead of production.

Jonathan Entwistle told Thrillist: "We're looking at what the people who loved the show are saying, to see how we can unpack that and how we could continue the tone of the show. Because I think that is so crucial.
"For me, it's about James and Alyssa - and I think that's what people have connected with. I think a season two would have to involve James and Alyssa somehow.
"I just love the world of them out there on the road, doing something in a weird world. So for me, any story that we expand keeps them out there somewhere."
End of the F***ing World season two airs on Channel 4 on 8th November at 10pm, with two new episodes double-billed every night across the week.
